How Did We Meet?
Saturday, December 29, 2007
Here is another AVP made by our videographer, Playback Productions. This was shown while we are having our sumptuous meal provided by Hizon's.

Since we don't have any common friends that could testify how our love affair blossomed over the internet, we decided to take pictures and videos of our own. (Sobrang hapit na kasi kami sa oras nun. We couldn't find the time to meet Bim of Playback again). Our guests enjoyed watching this especially the YM part. Mejo di kasi malinaw ung text ng video dito sa Youtube bvut when it was played on the super-uber big white screen of Clamshell, they were all laughing about how our first few conversation turned out. hats-off talaga ako kay Bim. We just gave him the raw pictures, background music, video files, a story board (na mejo magulo) and yet, our love story AVP became a big hit. Promise, walang na-bored sa AVP na ito. Sobrang hanggang tenga ang ngiti ko when our guests gave us compliments na ang saya at sobrang entertaining daw.

Sorry naman for the piece-meal update. We don't have yet the official pictures kasi. I really want to tell my wedding day stories togetehr with photos para mas kapani-paniwala mga 'wento ko...

'Till next update! :)

The Mystery of Nazareth
Christmas is now over. All of us are already gearing up as we welcome 2008. But as many people try to catch up with their new year preparation, a recurring mind boggling idea just bump my mind again. I couldn't help but wonder why Jesus grew up in Nazareth Jerusalem. It's a Muslim territory and Muslim looks up to Allah as their savior, not Jesus Christ. As this came into my mind, I tried searhing Nazareth History in Wikipedia. Did I find the answers to my questions? Unfortunately, it did not. I guess it will take not just a lifetime to figure it out but also, eternity.

Loan, anyone?
Two of my QAS are going to have a baby next year. Actually, it's a "mommy" and "daddy" in the making. (Edited: the "mommy" just gave birth this afternoon to a bouncing baby boy!). One of them asked me if our company offers personal loan. The idea of applying for a loan came into the mind of the parent-in the making as medical cost can be quite hefty. Since I am really not sure of how personal loans really work, I just told the parent that an SSS loan can also be an option. I am not just sure if the parent is going to pursue the idea of having a loan since there will be tax reimbursement for them come January 2008.

Securing My Identity
Three weeks ago, I lost my handbag that contains all my credit cards, important IDs, my 1GB flash drive, some cash and other pertinent wedding related documents. You could just imagine my temporary insanity during that time. I felt so helpless, as if I am nude. I got nothing in me not even a penny. Just my sweat shirt and a handful of hope that Russell will get to the place where I lost my handbag with just a blink of an eye.

Apart from the valuables that I lost, one of the things I was worried about is identity theft. I could only hope that we have wallet lock here in the Philippines. If you're gonna visit http://www.lifelockpromotionalcode.net, you can take advantage of the LifeLock Promotion Code. If you are wondering what LifeLock is all about, LifeLock is America's #1 Identity Theft Prevention Program. Alerts will be placed on all four of your credit reports from each of the major credit reporting bureaus. As it is, it will immediately block your credit card. Thus, you can be sure that your good financial reputation will be protected. To receive the best LifeLock Promo Code available, you just need to enroll yourself on their official website and use the promotion code RD9. Wow, this is really beneficial for those people who had the same theft experience as mine. Talk about having some peace of mind.

Events! Events!
Ok. Though I am still in "vacation mode" now, I just thought I owe (the very few) blog readers I have some updates on what is happening to me for the last 3 weeks. Ok. I'm gonna go backwards.

December 9

I, together with Russell attended our company's Christmas party in Metrowalk grounds. Very corny ang place huh! at ang init!!!! it was soOoO awful that it rained that night so they had to cover up the entire ground with tents (na pagka init-init! grrr!!!!) Though this was the case, I still enjoyed it because my ever dependable and reliable assistant supervisor lovey James Becky was the emcee during that night. He was wearing the magician hat and trench coat. Very circus-sy talaga huh. Mejo na-hassle lang ako sa kung anong susuotin since it's been a while since the last time I attended a grand occasion. I ended up wearing white dress na nga lang.

Four gays and a tomboy

The Tent

December 14

(I think) All of us in my team had a great time with our monito-monita. Our montio-monita kasi has a twist. Instead of raffling our names, we used codes. So in turn, the secret santa doesn't know his/her "baby" because all we had are code names. We just had an excel file of our wishlist (shempre code name pa rin). It was all fun expecially with all those gifts that our "baby" had asked their secret santa. (Josh asked for M2M -man to-man porn DVDs. Allison was theone who got him so just imagine her kahihiyan when she bought P500 worth of gay porn DVDs sa Quiapo. LOL).

Daming food. We had some committee kasi eh. It was really one pig-out night for all of us.

Amalia with her oven toaster- Pinaghirapan ni Jericho yan!

Hmmm yummy cake! Thanks Uly!

Nag uumapaw na ice cream sa madaling araw!

Hala, Lamon Na!

My Team and my Baby

Strike a Pose! Sexy ni She noh! (She's my "baby" btw)

Transition in the company
Our company has just been merged with another European company. I can't say if it's good news to us but all I can say is that, I have already lost my passion towards what is happening in the four corners of our office. We were supposed to get profit sharing but due to some reason, it's now 'gone with the wind.' I just hope that the marketing people could find better ways of improving our marketing platform. Maybe they should try visiting this website: http://www.juicemetriqs.com

Juice Media Worldwide, LLC, a leading provider of on‐demand Marketing 2.0 software services and solutions has moved to new San Diego headquarters at 591 Camino de la Reina on the 11th floor of the prominent Valley Corporate Center building.

Located just 10 minutes from downtown San Diego, the nearly 4,000 square foot state‐of‐the‐art offices are double the size of the previous headquarters. The new office equips Juice Media with enough space for the company to grow its software development and client management staff by an additional 50 percent in 2008.

“Managing rapid growth is always a challenge for successful start‐ups. We evaluated several options for new offices to accommodate our growth and Valley Corporate Center was an ideal location for us,” said Rick Enrico, CEO, Juice Media Worldwide, LLC. ”The office tower’s expansive features and centralized location made it a great solution for our needs as we expand our staff and client roster.”

Juice Media employees have access to a number of benefits with the move including an on‐site deli, gym, ocean view offices, and a park next door. The additional meeting space also enables Juice Media to develop even stronger relationships with its clients with more frequent and productive onsite meetings.

What fruit, Gac Fruit?
It's the time of the year where we could see almost all kinds of fruits in our dining table. When I was a child, I would always enjoy myself with grapes and oranges given to by my godparents. Last year, I was introduced to a dragon fruit, but honestly? I don't like it's taste nor I know its medicinal value.

Months before my wedding, I was told that I should eat a lot of fruits so that I could have a glowing skin come our d-day. I tried eating apples and oranges but since I am not really a "fruity" person, I gave up eating these fruits 3 days after trying so. I tried using other products that say "all natural products" but I guess, some things won't just work for me. It was only a day after my wedding that I was introduced to Gac Fruit (developed by R.G. Skin Revitalizer). Gâc fruit, a tropical superfruit with a rich history of medicinal use in Asian households. Beta-carotene, a natural carotenoid antioxidant found abundantly in Gâc fruit, helps boost the immune system and assists the skin’s cellular rejuvenation process. Carotenoids as plant pigments function as protection of the plant against excess sunlight. As a result, their nutritional value is especially important to healthy skin. As all natural product can protect your skin against damaging free radicals and to protect it from the inside out, you can be assured that your will be using a safer method of enhancing the way you look.

Can Long-Term Rehab Help Lindsay?
Tuesday, December 25, 2007
Lindsay's issue on prohibited drugs addiction has always been the focal point of discussion on why a girl like her with such money, beauty, and fame, would turn into drugs. What happened to the cute little start of "Parent Trapped"? What could have possibly went wrong?

The last news I heard about Lohan, the facility center where she's admitted said that she was caught with drugs and having sex with another patient while inside the rehabilitation center. She had a hard time staying in an alcohol rehab facility before. She's also frequently late to meetings and refuses to do any chores or menial tasks such as washing up.

With all those things, I was wondering: Where is she admitted? Why didn't the drug rehab center kick her out of their center? Can long term drug rehab help Lohan?

For an ordinary family, sending a drug-addicted family member to a rehab takes a lot of consideration such as cost of program, duration, level of freedom, effectiveness, uniqueness of strategy and success rate of drug-free patients. But given these considerations, a lot of parents still opt to send their children into a drug treatment facility in the hope that they will get to see their children "cleansed" and reformed. But Lindsay? Oh well, I hope Lohan will find her way back to her good little girl 'ol days.

Chatting the Lone Star Style
I once accepted a call from a Dallas Chat-ter that his system just crashed. He's supposed to have a cyber date that's why. I am not really sure how chatting works in Texas such as Houston Chat and San Antonio but from what I can remember, it's quite different as both guys and gals can call in for free and chat live OR leave Voice Personals for others to hear when they are off the phone.

These lines are often called phone chat lines, chat lines, live chat lines, free teen chat lines and local chat lines.

Callers don't have to give out their phone numbers and are Anonymous when they are on the system.

When callers call the chat line they record a greeting for others to hear while they are on the phone. Then they listen to greetings of the other callers that are live on the system and then can choose to send a message to that person or they can request a live connection with that caller. Now that's something...

Ads Acknowledge?
Aside from Google and Yahoo, an upcoming bid system is proliferating the internet by storm. It's called Adknowledge. Adknowledge operates BidSystem.com, a multi-channel behavioral targeting ad network in which advertisers seamlessly bid for traffic in display, email and smaller search engines. Over 50,000 advertisers have used the Adknowledge BidSystem. But wait, there's more (LOL) Nnw users get $50 in Free PPC advertising for a limited time. Sounds like a deal huh

Guest should sign our guestbook
Friday, December 14, 2007
I have heard a lot of bride stories where guest failed or should I say, tinatamad to sign the wedding guest book. Because we don't want a guest book that only has 10 signature/messages, we have thought of a gimmick that will encourage our guests to sign our guest book. Since we got hundreds of pictures from our pre-nup pictorial, with only 20 of them to be chosen, we decided to use the excess pictures in the AVP that we are going to make.

Some important notes:
  • It rained hard during the day we had our prenup pictorial
  • Russell didn't get to have his hair done (his hair looks sabog)
  • Kix, our photographer was already there at 9am. We got there at around 11am. (grRrrrrr!)
  • We had to have our costumes done in only 3 days. The result? Ok ung kay Russell. Yung blouse ko, sobrang maluwang. Mukha tuloy akong preggo.
  • All of our pictures are candid. We don't want the traditional shots. After all, it's my dream to wear a japanese high school uniform. The shorter the skirt, the better. LOL
  • Val Villarin, my make up artist did my hair and make up in only 20 minutes. Bilis noh?! He had to do my retouch at around 3pm as he has another appointment to attend to. Shonga ko lang, I forgot to give him extra money for his transpo going to Manila (IWe picked him up in his house early in the morning).
  • Russell had to resize the pictures that we used. Otherwise, mashadong malaki file. DI kayang i-upload youtube. But come our wedding day, we will use the original file size na para di blurry.
So far, I am really satisfied with how my photographer, make up artist and of course, the videographer are doing their job. That's what you call affordability without sacrificing quality.

Another Victim of Salisi Gang
It's not yet a week since I posted what happened to me regarding the Gateway incident and yet, there is another sis from w@w who had worse experience that I had. This time, it's in SM Quiapo. I am posting this story so that this won't happen to you, your friends or your family.

I am blessed pa rin pala kasi miski papano, CBTL people and Globe people were very alarmed and concerned of what happened to me. They allowed me to use their phone for over an hour.

Please, please...konting ingat lang po.

Gifts Galore
I fond of receiving Gifts(who doesn't?) but I don't like the hassle of thinking what gifts to give and the time and energy one would consume just to find the perfect gift. I don't really give Russell gifts on special occasions. Rather, I would just buy him clothes and shoes when ever we have the time. It's very unexpected so to speak. Now that Christmas is fast approaching, I can't really squeeze in any time and opportunity to go shopping. Bummer! I was supposed to give my entire team a basket full of goodies but due to the very unfortunate event that happened to me last week, the idea of playing the lady Santa is now buried six feet below the earth. LOL I was really meaning to give them this basket since our company no longer gives us one unlike before. Well, I guess the company can no longer afford to give basket full of goodies for more 2,000 employees.

It's a good thing though that we an send gift baskets to our relatives in San Diego through www.delightfuldeliveries.com. To give you a better idea, here is what this online store is all about.

Another Busy Friday
My team's monito-monita is set tonight. I have asked my Father-in-law (he is a good cook) to cook menudo for us. Russell is gonna come with me (as always!) and we are set to leave Cavite at around. I am quite excited about this though my grand plan of giving the entire team of gift basket will no longer materialize because of what happened last week.

Aging?
Every night, Russell would ask me to give him a back massage. Well both of us have been suffering from lower back pains for quite sometime already. It just became worse when we tried enhancing our wedding invitations. We had to work as late as 4am. Wheeeww!!! We have been planning to go to a chiropractor or a spa where we could indulge ourselves in a massage but we just couldn't find the time. As I was going my weekly blog hopping, I found this: Human Touch HT 7450 Zero Gravity Massage Chair. As I looked for its specifications, I learned that:

The HT 7450 incorporates Human Touch’s unique massage technology, called the Quad Roller System, which includes four precise techniques that imitate those used by massage professionals: Percussion, Rolling, Compression, and Kneading. The experience combines the sensations of hands rapidly tapping on the back, gentle rolling, alternating strokes and relieving spinal pressure, and kneading to work out knots and ease soreness. The HT 7450 Zero Gravity Massage Chair calibrates the body frame of the individual sitting in it and adjusts according to that individual’s unique physique, so each massage in the HT 7450 is perfectly focused on the right areas of the body. The speed, intensity, location, and technique can then be adjusted according to an individual’s preferences, or specialized Accupoint programs can be used for particular types of relief or relaxation. Additional options include a soothing heat feature or a luxurious foot massage, all customized to the individual’s preference!

Sometimes, I wonder if we are really that old to experience this. LOL When Russell goes back to US, I would buy him one. I will use all my saved blogging money just to purchased it. I am not there so nobody will take care of him.

GF No More!
Thursday, December 13, 2007
Remember my post about my leave being denied (December 7- our supposed to be last anniversary- well 5th anniversary as bf-gf)? Well, I should say that having my leave been denied wasn't that bad at all. Why? Because...

I was making parinig to Russell about him visiting me to the office. But it seems that he just couldn't find the time to visit me because he is with his other wife-- his best friend playboy cum best man Von. LOL. Apparently, they were in SM checking out on something. I got pissed that I told him that he should get home before dusk. He was supposed to finish an AVP that I ask him to finish on that day. Oh well, I was still hoping that he will visit me in the office. But I was wrong. I called his house in Cavite around 8pm and he was there. I shouted at him, literally, out of frustration. So there isn't really any chance of him seeing me on that day. Because I was really mad at him and as I went ballistic, I called again at around 9pm. This time, he wasn't at home. My heart was pounding. I didn't know what to do. A lot of negative things came into my point. I tried calling his friend Von, but the best friend told me that he was not with him. Oh, my! Where did this maggot go?! I also texted his youngest sister, Girlie of his whereabout but little sister couldn't give me any significant details. I was about to call his parents when...

10 minutes before midnight of December 8, I was surprised as someone kissed me on my cheeck (coming from behind huh), gave me a bouquet of flowers, a VCD-AVP and a cake with 5 candles (for five years?!). It was Russell! I really blushed. All this time, it was only I who didn't feel his presence in the office. As always, I have been the center of attention in our department.

We won a departmental competition so my team shared a bilao of pancit for our lunch. I also bought pork bar-b-q from metrowalk's yoohoo so it was a full meal for lunch. It was during this time that Russell disclosed to me that the reason why he went to SM Bacoor is to buy me flowers and the cake. He was home at 8pm as he was trying to finish the AVP that I ask him to do. He left his place at around 8:30 so that he could be in the office before a second of December 8 ticks.

Awwwww...that was sweet, isn't it?! I guess, I've just been to pressured and stressed nowadays and little things could get me irritated easily. I have thought all of the negative scenarios and hurting words that I will tell Russell once I get to see him but all those things fade away when I learned what really happened.

My team---the others were still finishing their audits.

Awww! Ka-sweet!

Happy 5 years to us!

Meant for each other? Di kami nag usap ng sususotin nyan!

Credits to James B. for taking these pictures through his ever reliable camera-phone.

It's only8 days to go. I can't feel yet the feeling of excite. I am more of getting more stressed and stressed. But everytime I would look at Russell's innocent face as he sleeps, it makes me realize that I am about to begin a new and beautiful chapter of my life. And that completes me. Next year, we're gonna celebrate our 1st anniversary as husband and wife.

Good night! (3:08 am)

If not for online chatting...
If not for the free online chat facility I don't think Russell and I will ever meet. We meet in a dating website that's not necessarily for teen chat alone. That is why whenever a friend asks us how we met and how we ended up with each other, I would often tell those silly and childish chat lines that we had. What really technology can bring into someone's life!

Stretching Your Business Financial Capacity
When I was still in grade school, my mom used to own a shop that sells RTWs, shoes and other apparel items. As she tries to build the shop (we own the lot by the way), she opted to have Small Business Loan through the cooperative organization, of which she was a member. She could have ran to other small business financing services but she's afraid that the interest rates for the small business loans might be too high. After getting the money that she needed, she build a small 'boutique' for her business. She ran a few gimmicks on her shop and the income was quite good. Now that we no longer have a student in the family, she just had this shop converted into a 2-door apartment. It's time for her to experience the fruit of her hard work. :)

Meeting an old friend
Russell and I just went back from our dinner in Sasahama, an authentic Japaneses restaurant in Kawit, Cavite. Little did he know that his friend, Michael, owns this restaurant. My taste buds were satisfied with a sumptuous meal of ebi tempura and cha han and gyoza as my appetizer. So far, I can say that Michael is Russell's best bud that I have ever met. He's not mayabang at all! He was soOoO down-to-earth and very funny to be with, just like his wife, Chi-chi. To top it all, I think this is the first time that a friend of Russell treated me with a dinner. LOL

Chi-chi and I hit it off instantly, as if we're like long time buddies. She's so feisty. I like her. I like her being straight-forward. I guess I am seeing myself in her. We had some nice time catching up with their old stories, especially the "chickboy" days of our hubbies. And oh, by the way, we also gave them our wedding invitation and I am really looking forward on seeing them on our wedding.

It's already past 2am. I must go to sleep now.

Foreclosure Homes
Russell used to work for a law firm specializing oh foreclosure homes. Some of these houses were acquired through home Loans financing. At first, I am really having a hard time what does unsecured loans mean. Then Russell explained it to me thoroughly. There are lots of financial services that provides low-interest home owner loans and most of them offers real tempting deals. While interest rates may vary according to one's credit profile, most of these lenders offers no minimum loan amount (though you can only borrow as much as $25,000- most of the time). As he explained this to me, I can't understand how a homeowner loses his house given these options that he can choose. If it's me, I would have paid my monthly mortgage on a piece-meal basis just to save my house. Hmmm..I guess people just uses their own strategies. While some might work, some might not.

This ain't bad, isnt it?
Sunday, December 09, 2007
I was browsing through our pictures that will be used in one of our AVPs when I saw these:

What is on his mind on our first meeting.

Ngaragan moments

This is one great illustration of how I get mad with Russell. Eksaktong-eksakto. LOL Nagulat din ako na gun pala conversation nila ng bestfriend nya while they were on the road to see me. He is really good with art, ako ni taong stick, di ko yata alam i-draw. That's why I left all the decisions to him when it comes to videos and pictures.
May "k" naman di ba?

I'm a Victim of Salisi Gang!
This post is an overdue post. I wanna share this story even though you might have already heard a lot of stories like mine. But anyway, here it goes.

WARNING: Punum-puno ng emosyon ang kwentong ito so forgive me for the profane words I am going to use. Pasencia na rin po sa mis-spelled word and grammar. 2:30 am na kasi. mejo nabo-borlogs na atashi.

Last week, I was set to meet one of my entourage, Joy, to get the measurements of the alterations ng gown nya. We agreed na magmi-meet na lang kami sa Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf sa Gateway. I know kasi na mashadong matao sa Starbucks at mas madali kaming magkakitaan sa CBTL. So there, nagkita kami dun around 6-7 and because matagal kaming di nag-meet, more chika more fun ang drama ng mga bakla. We have a lot of things to catch up- so much stories to tell with so little time to spend with. Dahil maliit ang table sa CBTL at wala namang couch dun, we agreed na dun na lang kami sa non-smoking area kasi mas 'konti tao dun. While inside, we placed our two cups of coffee and Joy placed her bag dun sa table. Since wala ng space. I just placed my bag on the floor, dun side ng may glass. Kamapante ako kasi wala namang dumadaang ibang tao (dahil wall glass side nga eh, anuber?!) and wala namang nago-occupy sa likod ko. So there, chika-chika kami for 10 minutes after kong ilagay ang tape measure sa bag ko. After 10 mins (out of intuition siguro) I was about to check my cellphone for the time (baka kasi late na ko) and to my surprise, wala na ung bag ko, AS IN BUONG BAG! At first, akala ko joke lang yun or baka naman nadampot lang ng maintenance people. But hello, super reality check talaga ako, asking myself if this is happening. Sadly, misku sampalin ko man ang sarili ko ng mag-asawa, for REAL nga sya at wala na kong magagawa. I was speechless for a couple of minutes. I just went back to reality nung marealize ko na ang daming valuables dun sa bag ko, namely:

3 credit cards (ung isa dun kaka-increase langng credit limit to P89,000)
check woth P13,000
cash- P12,000 (pambayad sana partially sa photographer/videographer)
cosmetic make up set worth P3,000 (kakabili ko lang 'neto. sale na nga ang MAC at maybelline eh)
1 USB flash drive that contains all my necessary back up files ng wedding (eto ung nakakabwisit sa lahat)
my precious UP ID issued on 1999 (miski bulok na eh!)
SSS ID
Nokia Phone

...and some important items. I tried calling my number and as expected, ginamit nung nagnakaw ung phone ko. TANG INA! Joy and I immediately went to the Globe office located on the 3rd floor. Andun din ung PINCODE slip nung payroll atm kasi di ko pa napapalitan pincode during that time. Mabuti na nga lang kasi ung bagong ATM card (from our new payroll provider) eh nakasingit dun sa passport na naiwan ko sa bahay nina Russell sa Cavite.

I have so much things to say about this incident pero kelangan ng tag-isang post para mai-describe ko ng maayos ung hassle na naidulot ng mga bagay na nawala ko.

Up until this time, I don't know what went wrong, even si Joy. Actually, mas nahihiya sya kasi sya dapat ung nakakita kung sino ung nasa likod ko. Kung meron mang lumapit sa likod ko, dapat nakita nya. kaso wala talaga syang maalala. What I remember though is that, there was a beautiful girl sitting in my front who keeps on smiling at me. I can't help but stare because she too darn beautiful. Sabi ni Russell, umiral daw ang pagkatibo ko baka na-hipnotized daw ako... LMAO

It was a big dismay for me that CBTL doesn't have a security camera kaya di ko na malalaman who took my bag. I guess dapat maging requirement sa mga shops especially sa mga ATM centers ung pagkakaroon ng security camera just like sa US. Anyhoo, after calling all the credit card hotlines, I called Russell. My voice was calm but my spine was shivering and pinagpawisan ako ng malamig. I called Russell to inform him about what happened. Di na ako tumawag sa haws kasi baka mag alala pa sina erpat and ermat. Ayoko sila mag alala. Nagpasundo na lang ako kay bebeh and he drove all the way from Cavite to Cubao. Mejo natagalan pa nga kasi matraffic sa Baclaran Area. I really don't want to disturb him kaso ni singkong duling, wala ako sa bulsa. Sarili ko lang at jacket ang natira sa akin. We dropped off Joy muna sa haws nya sa Cubao and I reproted the incident dun sa pinakamalapit na police station. According to the police sa front desk, ang dami daw reported cases ng budol-budol, salisi and robbery talaga pag ganitong panahon. Two days before I came to them, may nawalan daw ng 100k sa isa ring restaurant sa Gateway. PAKSHET. HayyyY, buhay talaga! I had to file a police report kasi for my SSS and other pertinent documents. My only consolation though is that, di ko na na-experience ung trauma ng nahold-up o natutukan ng kutsilyo/baril.

Lesson learned: Be more vigilant in your surroundings and most importantly, SA PANAHON NG KAPASKUHAN, BAWAL ANG KATANGAHAN!

Cramming With Thesis
I have a former QA who enrolled himself in Master of Education in our alma mater, UP Diliman. I'm no longer his supervisor but he still opted to get the recommendation from me. I guess that's what you called friendship built by trust and respect. Anyway, A few days before I had my much-awaited leave, he approached me and told me that he is having a hard time with his thesis. His professor just have high set of standards, I guess. As much as we want to do an argumentative research paper, he just can't find the time to do it and his brain cells are not functioning well LOL. Of course, he won't and will never opt for a Recto-type of term paper. If he wants others to do his homework, he should opt for customer writing services. Having a customer written paper will definitely set his term paper apart from the others.

No Beauty Regimen Yet
My wedding is really fast approaching, 13 days to go to be exact. At this point, I should have gone under treatment for beauty regimen but up until this time, I haven't done anything yet. I feel so harassed. So much are yet to be done. Good thing though that I am already on leave so I will have full attention and much more time to finish all the necessary things to be finished. Mind you, instead of reducing weight, I already gained 6 pounds in 1 and 1/2 months. That sucks, isn't it? I am just thankful that zits aren't greeting me with a big "HELLO!". Initially, I have thought of buying online skin care products. But to to order online sometimes makes me think twice before doing so. Why? I am afraid that the skin care products that I will order might not just fit my skin. Besides I don't know if the people behind those products have the reputation I can trust. Sunny Griffin is the founder of Natual skin care that offers various product for different type of skin. It specializes in the creation of professional organic skin care products to meet all your needs whether you have oily, mature, dry skin, or are in need of a serious skin care products

I don't want another picture frame!
During my elementary days, I would always get 'good morning towels' and picture frames during our Christmas parties. I didn't mind it back then but now that I am old enough to know what I really want, getting a picture frame or a good morning towel just sucks. I would rather want to have a gift card so that I could have something that I really want.

But maybe giving a gift card to a loved one can be even more personalized by giving a Photo Gift Card. GiftCardLab is the first Visa gift card that gives you the chance to upload pictures, graphics, or art and design a completely custom card. Russell is a very sentimental person so giving him when wefirst met, engagement picture, a special moment will make him keep the personalized gift card in his wallet. Sounds cool, isn't it?

To go or not to go?
Our Christmas party i s set tonight. But I am thinking twice whether I am going to attend it or not. Why? Simply because I don't anything new to wear. And the feeling just sucks. We got lot of things to do so I am praying so hard that I will have the time to buy a dress for tonight's event.

L.A. Legal
I have always been a fan of the phenomenal Boston Legal. The character of Alan Shore made by James Spader makes me wonder how a good defense lawyer can really get a client out of jail because of DUI or misdemeanor even though the evidence would clearly pin the defendant down.

The practitioners of www.kelawyers.com are Los Angeles Criminal Attorneys | California Criminal Defense Lawyers | Felony Misdemeanor DUI Specialists are former senior Los Angeles prosecutors who have tried and litigated hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases. Who would not want a former prosecutor to defend a love on in a trial?

Traffic, Too Bad Nakaka-bad trip
Yesterday, we fetched Andy and Joel for their measurement on the coat and pants that we are going to rent for them. The travel from Ortigas to Espana was quite easy. What really made irritated is the travel from Espana to Ortigas. Boy, it seems that where ever we go, there just seems to be a bumper to bumper traffic. Guess it's really the time for shopping for everybody.

Goth, weird?
Friday, December 07, 2007
I have a QAS who acts and dresses like a Goth. I don't know what's in with the Goth attire but I really find it fascinating. I am very much exposed to singles dating website but what I didn't know is that there is also a dating website especially made for thosepeople whose prefereance are at goth, dark, fetish, vampire, alternative culture and heavy and extreme music.
Darkyria is a Goth singles dating website where membership is free and you can browse the thousands and thousands of profiles and pictures of other singles like you. Darkyria.com allows their members to not only upload photos but if you see someone you like, there’s this “Send a Wink” feature to help you let that person know you’re interested, a Dark Cupid who will find your Soulmate, a free Video Chat, Forums, a World Map Seeker, and much more.
Just like any other dating personal, this site also has a videochat that allows a user to see if the person he is chatting with is the real person he saw in the profile photo. I tried entering the site and the moment I got into their homepage, I was greeted with pretty interesting photos. Some of the members of this site are actually good looking. Hmmmm....

Last Day
Today is my last day in the office. I'm gonna be on leave from today until the 3rd of January 2008. While I am pretty excited about it, I just can't help but feel awful because today is our 5th ANNIVERSARY, our last anniversary as bf-gf. I have planned something for this day but ithas to be scapped since some stupid people in the office didn't make a good forecast of the workload vs. the current manpower that we have. What a bummer!

Beach Cruisers
Thursday, December 06, 2007
If only our Boracay honeymoon pushed through, I'm gonna have real hard time walking distance and distance of shores. I hate walking! Russell is too persistent on visiting the "exploited" island that is why, we're gonna book for another out-of-town trip sometime February. If only money is not a consideration, I would have bought myself a beach cruiser. Cruiser Bicycles especially those with design labels can really gear up one's mood. I am really not a girlie-beach-buff but I personally like this one.
When you try visiting their website where you can see their online catalog, you will be greeted with tons and tons of designs and wide array of bicycle products. It also has a page where you can see tehir available international shipping. Their blog contains the newest updates and promotions that they offer. The FAQ section explains the details of their products quite easyto unnerstand. As I am writing this post, one of my QAS asked me what a beach cruiser really is.
Beach cruiser bikes are a comfortable and durable bike that were at a peak of popularity in the 1950s and 60s and have become popular again in recent years. They are known for their durability, heavy duty frames and thick balloon tires. Beach cruisers have large comfortable seats and low handlebars. They are usually one-speed, and use a coaster brake. The wide variety of colors is a new improvement in beach cruisers from the original models, though you can still get one in the formerly standard black. Today’s cruisers are made of lighter materials as well. Many bike aficionados modify their bike by extending it and lowering the base. Now there are beach cruiser models that are pre-manufactured stretched out and low riding. Today’s beach cruisers have their roots in sturdier bikes first produced by Schwinn in the 1930s. They started coming out with 2.125 inch balloon tires. This bicycle was a lot tougher than previous models, and the tires helped navigate potholes, curbs and bumps without getting flat tires or damaging inner tubes. Other manufacturers rapidly copied this design, complete with the balloon tires. These bikes also had a decorative tank and battery-operated headlights. Riders liked the springer fork suspension, motorcycle-style horn, shiny chrome and tanks.
If you wanna learn more, I suggest you visit this site specializing in bicycles.

Registering Your Domain
I have a brother, a brother from a confraternity in U.P. who is going to start a business of his own some time next year. Actually, this has something to do with putting up an accounting firm of his own. As he is trying to look for prospective clients, he had to build a website but the domain is yet to be registered. Choosing a Domain name registrar can be quite tricky so finding the best one is going to be perhaps one of the most important decisions he has to make as he start this new business. There are a lot of websites that offers domain name registration but reading an update from ENCIRCA is so tempting.

Great Gift Idea for Licensed Professionals

Boston – December 5, 2007 – EnCirca (www.encirca.com ), domain registrar for .pro, announces a 25% discount promotion for all .pro premium domains. .pro premium domains are designed for all licensed professionals, such as lawyers, doctors, engineers, accountants, dentists, architects, realtors, pharmacists, financial advisors and industrial contractors. Self-employed professionals as well as professional service firms can use .pro to advertise themselves on the internet.

A .pro internet domain is a great gift idea for the professional in your life, including family members, co-workers and friends. The 25% .pro discount promotion ends December 31, 2007.

The .pro domain provides instant branding visibility for professionals of all types looking to promote themselves on the internet. Descriptive keywords in domain names are important for providing professionals a competitive edge in search engine marketing. Many professionals have found that .pro is the best option when it comes to finding appropriate keywords for search engine marketing.

".pro is ideal for professionals who want to establish a unique presence online", says Thomas Barrett, President of EnCirca. "A .pro internet address signifies someone who has credibility and mastery of their chosen occupation."

The .pro domain can be used for a company’s name, brand name, trademark, or as a descriptive keyword to describe a commercial service. Search engines consider keyword relevance in a domain name when ranking search results. In the "Free-Agent" economy, where professionals frequently move from firm to firm, it is also used by professionals to secure their own personal name in .pro to establish a blog.

What is a pro? pro stands for "professional", a title bestowed upon someone who has demonstrated mastery of knowledge and skills in their chosen occupation or career. Professions are usually regulated by professional bodies that may set examinations of competence, act as a licensing authority for practitioners, and enforce adherence to an ethical code of practice. Examples of professions include: Doctors, Lawyers, Dentists, Therapists, Pharmacists, Nurses, Industrial Contractors, Teachers, Architects, Engineers, Surveyors, Accountants, Financial Advisors, Realtors, and Insurance Agents.

No Longer Afraid of a Grand Father Clock
When I was small, my mom used to maintain an antique grand father clock that we have inherited my my mom's folks. It was so soOO huge that I sometimes get scared when ever midnight strikes and loud music fills our small living room.

Now that I am planning to have a home of my own, I am dead set on getting an interior designer to make sure that I will have the appropriate home decor. I now want to own a grand father clock, this time, it has to be modern- more of a contemporary style like the one below that I found in this site http://www.1-800-4clocks.com/Howard-Miller-Grafton-II-Grandfather-Clock_611-074 (I just don't know if Russell will approve getting a grand father clock).

Howard Miller clocks offers a wide variety of grand father clock that will surely fit one's preference. The picture I posted above actually came from their site. Try visiting Howard Miller' site and you will see yourself what they have to offer. The site also got a blog where you can learn a lot regarding clocks, more specifically, grand father clock. Personally, I like the post pertaining on how an owner can take care of his grand gather clock and keeping it's long life. It's so cool, try to visit this site. I hope you'll enjoy browsing the site as much as I did.

Search Engine At It's Finest
Tuesday, December 04, 2007
I have always been a fan of Fox TV series. This is where I was firt introduced to the series-of-all-time, 24. I really don't know who Keifer Sutherland is until I came across this phenomenal TV series. When I first tried to look for information about him through google, I was welcomed with overwhelming results- some of which are not even related to Kiefer. My experience with google has always been like that.
Sometimes, I would always have a dilemma on which search engine am I going to use when ever I want to look for something in the internet. I have always been a google loyalist but in the office, we can only surf Wikipedia as this is the only approved search engine website that our intranet admin allows. However, being a member of Spock changes the way I treat search engines.
Spock is a free people and information seach engine. It's quite different among any other search engines. In this site, a name or tag consisting of a personal piece of information can be useful in searching for people. What is more interesting is that a person or a Spock member can also create any tags. When I made a search of this site, it prompted me with results coming from specific google, myspace and wikipedia pages. It has a "narrow your search" feature will will help you categorized your searches. As you find your searches, you can send any information at a touch of your fingertip with its "Email This" feature. It also has a Trust Network where you personalize your search. What I like about this site though is that, it has this special feature where one can send a private message to another member. But hey, don't be confused as Spock is not a social network.
Though I am not a U.S. citizen, I'm religiously following updates on US Presidential Candidates, more specifically Hillary Clinton. From what I know, there are only 2 female presidentiables and Hillary is stronger contender for that post. I have seen some of her TV guestings in CNN and other TV News programs and I should say that I am pretty much impressed with her proposed labor policies. I have found so much information about Hillary when I tried searching information about her through Spock. Indeed, Spock is an amazing and a more efficienct way of doing your researches online.

Holiday Cash Rush
I can now feel the pressure of going to malls to shop for gifts for my co-workers and loved ones this Christmas. We are yetto receive our 13th month pay so I'm holding my expenses off so that I could budget what ever amount of money that goes inside my wallet. While I am doing this, I know a former colleague from another call center who just had a cash advance in her credit card because she can no longer wait for their 13th month pay to be released. Talks have been spreading that their company will only release this much awaited pay on the 14th of December. Personally I would rather have a payday loan, spcifically Faxless Payday Loans, rather than a credit card cash advance. Basically this how payday loan works: the money can be electronically deposited and repaid from your checking account on mutually agreed upon dates. Isn'tthismuch more convenient especially the payment terms? Too bad that our company doesnt offer a pay day loan policy.

We won!
We just had our meeting about 10 minutes ago. It was a great relief that our client was satisfied with how we managed to complete our task for the the Month of November. One of the highlights of the meeting is that when my ever reliable QAA, James sang a Christmas song during our conference call. In turn, we won the noodle party! Great! Our stomach will be filled with a sumptuous meal thsi Friday. Hehehehe!

Going Under the Knife?
I know a lot of friends who went under the knife just for the sake of vanity and beauty. I, on the other hand is really notafraid of it but what I don't want to happen is to regain the "excess weight" that I have after undergoing surgical operation. Yep. You heard it right. Though most people say that I am not really fat, I just feel that my weight 112 lbs. is not proportion to my height (5"1). I used to have a slender body but when I joined the call center work force, my appetite has just zoomed up. It's a good thing though that there is now lap-band ventura. It reduces the stomach capacity and restricts the amount of food that can be consumed at one time. During the procedure your Journey Lite surgeon will use laparoscopic techniques. This means that he or she will be making tiny incisions (rather than a large incision) and inserting special long-shafted instruments through these tiny incisions in order to wrap the inflatable silicone band around the upper part of your stomach. Now this is something, isn't it?

Leave Denied!
What a way to start my week. I was on vacation yesterday so I didn't know that my leave for Friday was denied. This is the first time (in 2 YEARS) that my vacation leave was denied. Suddenly, all of the things we have planned for oru anniversary have been trashed in just a snap. It's really disappointing but I guess I justhad to deal with it.

Reading Glasses, Anyone?
I just bought Russell a pair of eye glasses as a birthday present. It was quite hefty in the pocket but as it was a consolation to me that he liked what I bought for him. I actually bought him a pair of Speedo eye glasses. I had to buy him this eye glasses as the old one he used to have already have scratches in it so he is having a hard time when he driveat night. I onced joked that what he need is not a pair of eye glasses but a night vision instead. If he was in the states, I would have bought him a pair of sunglasses especially now that a lot of online stores offer free shipping and outrageous discounts.
