On the eve of my 24th birthday, Russell gave me a small velvet black box. I really didn't have any idea until I opened it. Dang! It was my engagement ring! I was really overwhelmed that I punched his arms out of surprise. When I showed it to my friends, they said it was nice. They asked me about its cut, clarity and the 2 other "C"s that a diamond should have (some things I don't know). It was the sign of first move for our wedding preparation. One of my friends asked me where he could buy inexpensive Diamond Engagement Rings and I directed him to Ongpin (though I am not so sure about the quality of rings there. All I know is that, Ongpin sells cheap jewelry.) I guess it does not really matter whether an engagement ring costs a million or just a few bucks. What matters is the intention of giving it to the special someone you love. Labels: jewelry |
