My elder sister cooked steam kangkong yesterday. It ws really awesome. Really, better than Chwoking's steamed kangkong. It has a unique taste. The reason? She put oyster sauce. This reminded me of our Boracar trip when the two foreigners on the other table (where we had our last dinner on the island) had steamed oyster. I heard the guy talking about it as an aphrodisiac. I have mentioned before that I've been craving for oysters. Hubby is from cavite and ironically, I haven't had any taste of an Oyster ala-caviteƱo. Now I am wondering how the taste of a cavite oysters differ from a Gulf oysters. |
