I am chatting to Beth over YM right now. She has already acquired all the necessary legal documents prior to her departure, but not her plane ticket yet.

I have mentioned before that Beth, our former account coordinator was offered with a job in Sydney Australia. The last time I conducted a team building was last May. Unlike before where I would be OC preparing for our TB, I didn’t plan this team building that much that’s why we ended up with Enchanted Kingdom. I didn’t have the luxury of time to plan for that activity since our program was just new and there were lots of things to do and learn. Our master plan was to play paintball at around 6pm because sun is already down by that time. Unfortunately, one of our team members suffered from nose bleeding so our plan of having paintball was scrapped. We just enjoyed ourselves with all the rides in EK.

One of the episodes of the latest season of CSI NY was something about a buy bust operation in an abandoned warehouse where one of the victims was wearing a paintball gear. The warehouse was quite a good scenario paintball since there were lots of obstacles to hide. Based from the gear that the victim was wearing, Mac Taylor (played by Gary Sinise) concluded that he was a professional paintball player. I didn’t know that there are professional paintball players because I am used to the fact that paintball is just for recreation.

Erika and I are planning to have a campaign wide paintball competition. When we told other team leaders about this plan, they all got excited. We badly need this kind of activity especially now that work is becoming more and more stressful. This is one great stress reliever. This activity will certainly rejuvenate our energy and enthusiasm. We are eyeing one paintball location in Antipolo. Though we are still in the process of evaluating the logistics and expenses, the idea of buying my paintball gear really ignites my bones. Apart from my frustration of being a lawyer, I have always wanted to be a part of the law enforcement. I am really fascinated with guns and war stories. But as I browse paintball online stores, seeing the price of one paintball gear set was like killing me with a .45 caliber gun. LOL Boy, they are really expensive! I am really blessed with having the ample amount of time to prepare my wedding. Though I got coordinators, I still make it a point that I will pay attention to every single wedding detail. I have to be in-charge here. Russell and I have been relying on the power of internet when booking our suppliers. We’re grabbing every opportunity of getting discounts on every supplier. I guess one of the perks of early wedding preparation is that you’re able to choose the suppliers that you want and haggle for price discount.

I’ve done hotel ocular inspections way back April. I have done ocular visits to Astoria Plaza, Richmonde Hotel, Makati Shang ri-La, Bayview Park, Manila Pavilion, Manila Hotel, Sofitel (formerly Westin Philippine Plaza), and G Hotel (a new hotel in Roxas Blvd. managed by the Waterfront Cebu Hotel). I am really not after the name or grand staircase. All I want is a spacious and well-lit room to make me, our families, and suppliers comfortable working in two suites. That is why I booked Manila Pavilion.

On the other note, one of my QAS “C”(who just got married last August 28), asked me about Hotel Reservations sometime in July. Paying it forward, I have listed all the hotels and condotels I have done ocular visits and I provided her some feedback as well. They are really in the crunch time because they only got a month to prepare and there are still lots of things to be done. Because I share my blog with few people of my team (and she is included in that circle) she asked me about the hotel discounts that I posted. I can hardly remember that post so I decided to dig the archive. Since we are way ahead from other teams when it comes to meeting our monthly target, I let them browse the internet – frienster, multiply, youtube.com (as long as no porn websites). That’s how lenient I am. Supervisors are not supposed to encourage their teams to browse the net but hey?!?! That is my way of appreciating their effort. Cut them some slack. Anyway going back to the topic, I was so happy that I was able to help her book her hotel through HotelReservations.com.

She booked Richmonde Hotel and she was able to get a very huge discount. She was so thankful to me for introducing this website because booking hotels and honeymoon destinations have become pretty much easier for her. They won’t have their honeymoon yet because a beautiful baby boy is yet to be delivered this December. They will probably have their honeymoon sometime next year and they will surely book again through this website. They are eyeing for a cruise experience and according to her, she's getting a sweet deal from this website. It feels so right knowing that I was able to extend a hand to a friend in need.

It’s been a while since the last time I created a sponsored post. I have signed up to two paid blogging sites but unfortunately, either I have to wait for their notification for any opportunities or I have to bid for an advertiser first before I could create a sponsored post. Just like many other bloggers I know, I was quite interested in signing up with PayPerPost. From the way I see it, PPP is the most popular among these paid blogging sites. I initially tried submitting my blog sometime last June. But stupid me! I didn’t read their terms and conditions before registering my blog. In short, my blog was denied because there was a 6-month gap of no posting. I revived my blog sometime in June but before that, I had my last post December of 2006.

Earnings from the other paid blogging site are quite good. In fact, I was able to convinced Russell and 2 of my QAS to try blogging. My QASs were thankful enough not just because apart from the fact they can start making some more cash , blogging will be their outlet for venting their angst and thoughts. Russell, on the other hand, will have something to keep himself busy as he is going to have a long vacation here (6 months! woOoOhoOo!!!) . Aside from managing their gas station, he could find himself making some extra moolah while writing some things about the particulars that he loves. What will I do with all of my earnings? I'll save every single penny until such time that it accumulates to half the amount of the DSLR that Russell and I are eyeing.
