Law and Order
Monday, March 31, 2008
Of all the four Law and Order series, I like the Special Victims unit the most. Maybe because I see more action there than the other three series. In one of the epiosdes, a male lead character was complaining that he lost his police cap, that looks like a Blackhawk holsters. It was a treasured one since it was given to him by their former station chief. One female police officer commented that he shoudl just buy a new one and stop whining like a kid. LOL

Back to Reality
Gosh, after 10 days of medical leave, I am now back to reality. I now have to face the "masalimuot" corporate world. I now have to see the ass-face of some people I really don't want to see. At the same time, I will now see again the faces that bring joy to my life- my TEAM.

Business Web Conferencing
Sunday, March 30, 2008
When I first saw myself in a wide screen plasma TV for a web conferencing with my boss(es)from Canada, I first thought of myself as one of the cast of the very famous 24. It was like I am a Michelle Dessler talking to a Jack Bauer about national security. LOL I know it's silly of me to think of that but hey! That was my first time to be in a business web conferencing. I was really amaze how technology helps various business sectors progress and how it eases the way people do "business." Web conferencing was first introduced to us, supervisors and managers. But now, we are now using it for training purposes. It really helps trainees and trainers get remote support through remote access. It makes the training class more interactive. Training for me used to be a boring activity as we only use phone conferencing. We don't see how our boss/ trainers look like and we don't see their facial expressions every time we get to answer a training activity. I mean, I am not really good at deciphering voice. You know- when a person says something but the facial expression especially the eyes are saying differently. It was like talking to a "ghost." LOL

Karaoke Addict
Wednesday, March 26, 2008
Addict nga sa karaoke. LOL Snagged this from Katrina (ni Rainier).

Your Karaoke Theme Song is "I'm Too Sexy"

You're a total goof ball and a bit of a nut job. You don't take yourself seriously at all.

And while you may not be the greatest singer, you're the first to volunteer for karaoke.

You have a wild and unpredictable sense of humor that always gets people cracking up.

Irreverent and rebellious, your humor knows no bounds or limits. You enjoy shocking people.

You might also sing: "Like a Virgin," "Ice Ice Baby," and "Hey Ya!"

Stay away from people who sing: "Sweet Home Alabama"

Business Thank You Cards
Tuesday, March 25, 2008
Mother-in-law just opened a mini-grocery somewhere in Rosario, Cavite. The building used to be a stockroom for their appliance center business. I am not sure if they already had this new business blessed by a priest but as early as this time, mom is already asking me about Business Thank You Cards. She wants it to be personalized just like what we had on our wedding. She wanted to have it made simple though just like this one:

As she said, a thank you card need not to be that fabulous. What is important is that a business man is able to show appreciation and genuine gratitude through a simple "Thank You"for the professional relationships that you thankfully support and hold in highest regard. Business thank you cards are a telling expression of professional gratitude, thankfulness, and loyalty. We have sorted National Book Store but we didn't find any business thank you card that resembles the one above. Searching the internet, CardsDirect offers customization services to its clients. As such, you can be sure that your thank you cards will be personalized. CardsDirect will professionally print your company name or message inside, print your return address on the envelope flap, even business logos and artwork. What is more tempting is they offer free ground shipping on all orders. I just presented this website to her. I am not sure though if mother feels comfortable ordering online.

Ang Yabang mo, ULOL!
Nakaka bwisit lang itong si Pacquiao. Umakyat na sa utak ang kasikatan at kayabangan. I couldn't wait for the day na ikaw naman ang mapapatumba ng mexicano. Nagagalit ka when people question your triumph over Marquez. But why were you surprised when you were announced as the Winner! Ay naku, hambog ka kasi! Pwe! Tandaan mo, mabango ka lang sa Malacanang kasi champion ka pa. Pag olats ka na, gud luck na lang sa yo. Pwe!

Finding the Best Web Hosting Service
Sunday, March 23, 2008
It took me a while before I finally decided to get my own domain. Though I am not that technology challenged, the term web hosting is alien to me. Per wikipedia, web hosting is defined as a type of internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the world wide web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity typically in a data center Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation. Wheew! There's a lot of jargon in the definition. I am now thinking that I am a website-challenged person. LOL Anyhoo, since I only have a pernal web page, I opted to have a single page hosting. I admit, I didn't do enough research when I acquired web hosting service. I didn't have the chance to browse the websites of those best web hosting services available. www.kaushalsheth.com is a website that give guide web hosting. This is something that will definitely web host users like me. :)

Happy Easter!!!
This week has been pretty taxing for me. But I'm glad that my visita iglesia worked for me. Lahat halos kasi ng santo eh tinawag ko nung Maundy Thursday. LOL So far, the bleeding has stopped. I just hope na tuloy-tuloy na. I miss my work na eh. Though if my OB won't allow me to go back to work, I won't hesitate to do so. My baby's safety is the most important thing for me right now. Nothing tops that.

Emergency Contact
Saturday, March 22, 2008
Not even once did I leave home without carrying an ID. And that scares me. I could just imagine an emergency medical situation where I would need an ID and I have none. Ironically, I always have my cell phone with me. UK Technology has developed an iconic self-adhesive visual alert to be applied to the back of the phone to serve as both as an alert for and invitation to paramedics and emergency personnel that the individual has established an emergency communication protocol. Termite Control
Friday, March 21, 2008
Some of my neighbors' house in Quezon City did have termite inspections. It all started when a neighbor, which is only a block away from us noticed that his house is being torn down by termites. Depending on the degree of damage, getting termite control service can be also quite expensive. That is why having a termite control guide, like the one we can see at www.killthetermites.com can be really helpful in protecting our homes.

DVD Marathon
We do not have cable TV here in my in-laws house in Cavite. As such, I can only do DVD marathon and non-stop internet surfing to keep myself busy while on bedrest. Nakakainis lang kasi di ako sanay ng ganito..but for baby's sake, I'll gladly do it.

Pearl, where?
I often wonder how and why does oysters produce pearls. I mean, its production stage inside a shell is just simply amazing. When we were in Pagudpud, I saw a lot of vendors selling oysters in the road market. I heard from a news somewhere that oysters and other sea shell food products are not safe from the coastal of Batangas and Subic. There is a red tide alert in those areas. The last time I ate oysters were when hubby and I are Boracay. I am not really really about the difference of a regular oyster versus Gulf oysters. The http://beoysteraware.com is a helpful website for oyster fanatic as it gives various information about the benefits and effects of eating oysters. I know a few friends who are fond of eating raw oysters. Just like them, I didn't know that eating raw oysters can also be risky. Thanks to this oyster website. It was designed to educate the oyster consuming public. It also provides a thorough background on vibrio vulnificus and the health conditions that place an individual in the at-risk category, as well as present tasty oyster products with reduced risk for all consumers to enjoy, including at-risk consumers.

Tired
We just came back from our Pagudpud trip. I know I should have been resting but I just thought that I might do the traditional visita iglesia. This is something I have not done in long time. I prayed to Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Augustine to keep our baby safe. Though Pagudpud is really a paradise, I didn't swim. Mashado na kong nabibigatan sa sarili. I will post pictures soon. :)

Practicum
I was exposed to people from all walks of life when I entered college. While I took a very boring business management course, I found most of my friends taking mass communication and engineering courses. Most of those who took engineering courses are either civil or industrial engineering major. I was also tempted to take an engineering course if not for the math series an engineering major has to take. Besides it is really difficult to have a job in that field since engineering is considered as a "man's world." Competition is really tough. Since we entered a state university, it is already given that our tuition fee will be subsidized. University programs being offered like the engineering co-op programs of Kettering University.

It is a unique program where unique in the school place students in companies in their freshman year and rotate them between school and their co-op job alternating every 3 months to gain practical experience from the beginning of their Kettering education. This is somehow related to what we have in the country known as "practicum" or "intern." Perhaps, this is the main reason why the US News and World Report has ranked Kettering University as "the #1 University in the nation for Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering" in its annual "America's Best Colleges Guide for 2008.

Shoe-holic
Wednesday, March 19, 2008
Every time I watch Carry Bradshaw's character in the infamous series, Sex and the City, I can't help but shake my head as I see 'her' purchasing not just one but a couple of Manolo Blahnik shoes (which costs at least $400). Man, that amount is almost half of an apartment rental fee.

As much as I enjoy Carry's character, I don't think that I'll splurge such amount of moolah just for shoes. For me, there will always be shoes liquidation which will definitely help me find the best shoes that fits my budget. With http://www.merchandizeliquidators.com, the site offers its prospective customers with the best promotion wholesale shoes, closeouts shoes, shoes liquidation, surplus shoes, salvage shoes, wholesale woman shoes, overstock shoes, athletic shoes and more importantly brand name shoes liquidation.

Come to think of it. Would you really want to spend $300 on a branded shoes when you can have it for less than $100 through shoes liquidation? Hmmm... I guess being frugal just equates to being a wise spender. During the first few month of me being a working girl, I would really want to 'feel' the fruit of my hard work by buying signature clothes and shoes in boutiques and department stores. But over the time, I have learned how to acquire the same thing through garment and shoes liquidation. And really, saving a grand or two can make a difference in one's shopping experience.

Vanished Fears
I just had an appointment with an OB GYN that my mom-in-law recommend. Experiencing "spotting" during pregnancy is really a horrible thing. I am just glad that baby is ok and that heartbeat is very prominent too. This is all I can say for now. I am saving all the details on my post to my pregnancy blog.

Masta Rapper
Tuesday, March 18, 2008
My brother is fond of Eminem when he was in high school. Hubby too is into rap music though he is much corny because he prefers local rap artist like Andrew E. LOL For rap fanatics, there is a newly launched rap forum where rap enthusiasts can express their thoughts on this kind of music. I'm sure that when they learn that such a niche forum exits, they will sign up for a membership. :)

In the Outfield
One of our maids is into baseball when she was in high school. I got the chance to have some tete-a-tete with her one boring Sunday. She is the pitcher. I could sense based from her stories the passion that she has for this game. Unfortunately, they only have the ricefields as their "baseball diamond. " Seeing someone play baseball can bring intense feelings. So I am wondering if playing one through online can deliver the same intense feeling. I can only imagine the challenges of winning a fantasy baseball. While doing blog hopping, I came accross Fantasy Sports Prophet's Fantasy Baseball. As it turned out, it is a key application that a baseball fanatic needs in order to win fantasy baseball leagues. This software was developed by a pool of scientist who are also responsible for designing a player-ranking tool based on predictive modeling. Making the right decision about any player are made easy as it has the most advanced draft assitance tool. A full season roster management including updated mid-season projections via artificial intelligence will indeed bring satisfaction to its clients. As of press time, the software offers a $10 off specials when readers use the promo code BMC200.

Two More Days
Two more days to go and all of us are going to enjoy the week-long vacation to celebrate the tradition of holy week. Unfortunately for me, I still have to work on Maundy Thursday. I'm still at my folks' house and I'll be coming over to Russell's parents by Easter Sunday. I will be on leave on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Sometimes, I get tired of what I am doing but thanks to my QAS. They are keeping me sane!

Online Casino Fever
Monday, March 17, 2008
As I do countless number of blog hopping sessions, I just noticed that a lot of bloggers review online casino websites. Since these kind of sites "pollute" the internet nowadays, it is important to look for a site that aims to be the best at providing you with all the information you need to make an educated decision on which casino to play at online. Because there are so many online casinos out there, picking one up out of the blue and trusting them with your money is something that you should think about for numerous times. When choosing an online casino site, it is also important that the customer service of the site is reliable. Agents should be courteous, professional and knowledgeable of what they are doing. They should be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Really, I am just an amateur when it comes to online casino but I'm hoping that with the online casino guide, I can learn the tricks of trade- qucik and easy!

Credit Debt
I have a QAS who finally settled for an option on settling his credit card debts. He just needs to pay two grand per month for a year and he will be deat free. Frequently, credit debt is an aweful experience. But if one has laready experience how it is to have credit debt, the person will certainly more careful when planning his financial stability.

A Guide To Online Casinos
Honestly, I've been to casino only once. I didn't play though. I was just a lurker. I was with my male college friends and it seems that they are enjoying a lot. Since it was a 24/7 operations casino, we got home between 1:30 to 2:30 in the morning. Now that most of us are in the call center industry, I doubt it if they ever had the chance to go out and play casino again. But thanks to the power of internet. Playing online casino is now possible. www.online-casino-list.com provides wide array of online casino guides that will surely help first-time players like me. One of the best features of this site is the page where players vote which online casino is the best. This site offers an in-depth analysis of all online casinos. Heck, they have a team of 20 analyst so one can never really go wrong with this site. For now, I really don't have time for casinos. But nobody knows the future, right?

Legally Bankrupt
When one files bankruptcy, getting back your good financial records really takes a while. You can't file any mortgage, interest rates on credit cards (that is if you are lucky enough to be approved for one) and getting any type of loans is just too difficult. I do not mean to be judgmental. But when I was a dell sales rep, customer from Bronx, NY would always be turned down when they apply for dell card services. Most of them would ask them if there is something I can do so that I can issue a card for them. Unfortunately, I can only do much. This is usually the time when they would share their stories of how tough it is to get bad credit loans. With the current state of US economy, more and more people are filing bankruptcy. At times, they would just get tempted on what ever offer comes their way first. This is where Bad Credit Offers comes in. Visit their site to see what options you have.

May magagamit na naman!
So, the unbeatable Pacman won again against another Mexican warrior. I am not a Pacman detractor nor a fanatic. Pero masaya naman ako sa pagkapanalo nya because he brings glory. once more, to our ailing country. Let's just say na nawala na ang "amor" ko sa kanya when he snub Manila Mayor Lim's invitation for a parade within the Manila area the last time he won. Napaka bastos.

Pwe!

I don't know if you noticed that I actually don't post a lot about my pregnancy. Well, that is because I intend to create a unique blog that talks only about my pregnancy. Oh by the way, I am going to open this blog to mommies and daddies only. I mean, I will only link blogs of mommies and daddies kasi puro baby and motherhood stuff lang nakalagay dito. Non-parents might find this blog a bit boring. Para na rin naka-segregate talaga ung mga linkies. Anyway, if you are curious, please visit:

Time is Gold
When I was in high school, I used to collect wrist watch. In fact, I have 12 wrist watches back then. Usually, I would wear something that will match my outfit. Hehehehehe! But over the time, I keep on losing my wrist watches one by one. Until such time that the only watch that I have is my cell phone clock. LOL. Now that I am about to move out from my folks' house, I need to have an atomic clock. Something like this one.

I found more information about atomic clocks on this clock blog. For clock fanatics, you can find more information about atomic, manter and grandfather clock on the Clocks Blog that I just mentioned earlier. :)

Dead Meat
Nakakainis. I hate the feeling of having colds and cough. Combo noh. As soon as my body touched my bed when I arrived earlier, it feels like as if I am a dead meat. Sobrang bilis ko mapagod the past few days. Week end is the only time I can regain much of my energy so I really love week ends. Matanda na yata ako coz I am no longer fond of going to malls and having night out gimiks. Mejo inaantok pa ko ngaun... ssssshhhhhhhh

Credit Cards for Bad Credit

Most of them would ask them if there is something I can do so that I can issue a card for them. Unfortunately, I can only do much. I know that there is such a thing as bad credit credit cards. Consumers can apply for the offer that's right for them, and by making payments on time they can start down the road toward rebuilding their credit and, perhaps, their financial future.

Looking for a Good Wedding Videographer?

Sorry..I just had to plug this site (and no, this is not a sponsored post.) I am just happy that our wedding videographer included us in his teaser for his website.

This picture was taken from our video clip of the father-daughter dance. Didn't I tell you guys that I cried like hell during that impromptu song number?

Really, Bim captured the emotions on our wedding excellently. Sabi nga "FEEL" it. If you want to know more about Bim, please check out his website.

Oyster Sauce
My elder sister cooked steam kangkong yesterday. It ws really awesome. Really, better than Chwoking's steamed kangkong. It has a unique taste. The reason? She put oyster sauce. This reminded me of our Boracar trip when the two foreigners on the other table (where we had our last dinner on the island) had steamed oyster. I heard the guy talking about it as an aphrodisiac. I have mentioned before that I've been craving for oysters. Hubby is from cavite and ironically, I haven't had any taste of an Oyster ala-caviteño. Now I am wondering how the taste of a cavite oysters differ from a Gulf oysters.

Protecting Your Investment
I just heard in the news that two fires broke within the Metro. There were some P2. something million pesos lost. I am wondering if these business have their Business Insurance to protect their business from any unfavorable events. My mom used to own a small RTW store and as far as I know, her business does not have any insurance. Our house does. Personally, I would prefer having a business insurance. I don't to lose a fortune just like what happened to those victims of fire. Hubby, on the other hand, is thinking of getting a health insurance of his own. This will serve as his security should he be hospitalized for some reason (I pray hard to God that we will be safe and healthy always.) He is thinking of what is going to happen to us should something bad would happen to him. I, also is thinking of getting a life insurance. I want to secure the future of our chil(dren) should something bad happen to me. I don't wanna leave them without any thing. Though a lot of people are thinking that getting an insurance is just another unnecessary expense, I strongly believe that getting one is just making sure that everything will be covered.

We just had our bingo session and I know that everybody enjoyed this simple activity. The prices were not that big but it lessened the stress we are feeling. Talk about client pressure. I vowed that we will have another bingo session in teh future. :)

Mortgaging Home
With the current condition of the US economy, it surely has an impact on our decision of whether we will buy a home or not. We don't want to spend the next 20 years of our lives paying the mortgage of our house. We want to enjoy life. As such, getting a mortgage really takes a lot of consideration. One major factor is the interest rate. It is also important that one should keep someting like Tracker Mortgages to ensure he/she will be getting the best value for her money. Getting a home can be quite tough. But if one is persistent and hard working, it is not impossible that you will have a dream home of your own. :)

Akane's Birthday
My 11-month old niece is about to celebrate her 1st birthday on April. Heck, at this point, my sister hasn't plan her birthday celebration. She only have P40k for her budget so budgeting is really a pain in the ass for her. She had bigger budget when my now 6-year old nephew turned one. Anyways, I've been trying to convince her to just celebrate the party in our village's clubhouse but she keep on insisting having it celebrated at Storyland Fairview (member kasi si nephew don) where kids can enjoy ride all you can ticket. Naku naman, kala ko ba nagtitipid eh P150/head kaya ang ride-all you can sa Storyland (noon pa yun huh, year 2002). Im helping her look for a cute cake that will also serve as birthday souvenir. So far, here are what I got.

Dora and Friends cupcake

Princesses

Naku, we reallyhave to hurry na. Kawawa naman ung niece ko. kauna-unahang babaeng apo pa naman yon.

The Week That Was
Friday, March 07, 2008
So much has happened over the past week. I have so many stories to tell but I am afraid I am running out of words to say. So I am going to make this brief.

Thursday, February 28- I was on leave for the entire week because of two reasons: (1) I got terrible colds and (2) I want to spend more time with hubby. On this day, we had dinner with one of his childhood buddies, Michael. We had our dinner at Country Side Steak. Too bad though that Mike’s wife, Chichi (who is by the way, so daldal like me) was not there. They’re supposed to have drinking session but decided to have it another day as Russell’s college friends will have another drinking session the following day.

Friday, February 29- We woke up pretty late on this day. I promised hubby that I’ll make nachos snack for his friends for their drinking session so we decided to go to SM. Because his cute little niece was around, I treated the niece and my good sister-in-law with movie tickets. They watched My Big Love while hubby and I watched Vantage Point (which by the way. a REALLY GOOD movie. No wonder it’s number 1 in the U.S. box office hits). The last two weeks have been a movie treat for us. We watched Jumper, Untraceable and Vantage Point day after another. It was too bad though that we didn’t have any car to use ot this day. Fortuner is being used my by in-laws. My sister in-law left her card in Navotas. Girlie used her car and their MB 100 van is in the repair shop. Just as when I finished doing the grocery and shopping for hubby’s needs (I bought him balikabayan gear- ayaw nya kasi ng maleta or box), Princess (my sister-in-law) informed me that Mama Luvie and Daddy Ramir are going to fetch us. Naawa daw kasi sila sa amin Para kaming mga batang yagit. LOL It was a relief, at first. But an hour already passed and we see no Mama Luvie and Daddy Ramir on our waiting place. I’m getting impatient and irritated as I really want to go home na. Tanga ko lang. I forgot that Feb. 29 is the day where the inter faith rally in Makati is going to be held. To add to my dismay, I learned that my Mama Luvie had to walk at least 2 kilometers to reach SM Bacoor as cars no longer move. Ang dami daw checkpoint on that day. Super hassle. So there, Mama Luvie walked her way and she left Daddy Ramir as it is already going late and mall is about to close. They left Noveleta around 7:00pm and Mama Luvie reached SM around 8:30 (juice ko day, 15 minutes lang dapat ito eh). Daddy Ramir reached around 8:45, just in time when our order arrived (we dined in at Shakey’s.) It’s already past 9pm when we reached Caltex where Russell and his friends are supposed to have their drinking session. Though only a few came, we had some good time and great conversation. Wala naman kasing mababato kina John Paul and Mighty.

Saturday, March 1- We paid a visit to my parents’ house in QC. We brought ulo ng lechon. We only stayed there for a couple of hours as hubby still needs to have his teeth done by my dentist. Kelangan na ng pasta at linis. I’ve been bugging him to see a dentist weeks before his departure but he keeps on delaying. When we got to the clinic, I want to tell him "I told you so…" when the lady dentist told him that his 3rd molar already needs to be extracted. Eh hindi na pwede kasi Sunday may lakad kami and it stil needs to be x-rayed kasi oral surgery na gagawin.

Sunday, March 2- While hubby was packing his things, I was silent. I really didn’t talk. Because I know that the moment I’ll utter a word, I will just break down. hayYyY, ang hirap magpigil ng emosyon. Because that Sunday is the last Sunday that we’re gonna spend together, Mama Luvie decided to have the entire family attend a mass in Tagaytay (Our lady of Lourdes). We dropped by at Sm Bacoor muna to buy pasalubong and some other stuff that hubby needs. After attending the mass, we had the eat-all-you can dinner at Sonya’s Garden. The salad is just superb. Blue Marlin tastes great and pasta is really delicious. I also liked their dalandan juice. The service though is not that super. We had to wait for 20 minutes for each item to arrive. Bummer. We arrived home at around 10pm na. This time, super busy na si hubby sa pag eempake. The balikbayan gear that we bought was spacious enough to contain 20 kilos. Sa sobrang anotk, we dozed off around 1am na.

Monday, March 3- When we woke up around 10am, I asked for the last time "Aalis ka na ba talaga?" hubby looked me in the eye and said, "Ayaw ko talaga kayo iwanan pero kailangan beh. Promise, next year, hindi na tau magkakahiwalay." I tried to contain my emotions kasi mas lalo lang mahihirapan syang umalis. I tried to put a smile on my face when he left. Hubby, on the other hand, wore eyeglasses. Tse! Style mo ugok ka, mas iyakin ka pa sa kin. Hehehehe We didn’t stay long at the departure area. As soon as we saw hubby entering the departure entrance, we left ASAP. It was a good thing because tears started to roll in my face. My Mama Luvie asked me if I am on leave. I told her that I am going to report for work. Mas lalo lang ako malulungkot pag uwi ko. I need to keep myself pre-occupied. I really thank God that he gave me wonderful people in my team because they make me laugh. Pag nasa office ako, tawa lang ako ng atawa. But when I get hoem na, I can’t help but be senti. So that is how last week worked for me. I am better now compared to the first 3 days when he left. After all, we get to talk and chat everyday. It eases my weariness and pain. I hope that God is guiding him always. :)

More shopping, More fun
Hubby just left for U.S. I really wanted to buy him clothes and an MP3 player but I ran out of time. Im planning of purchasing the items online but I want to look for promo codes first to get more discount. I am hoping I can get ABT coupon codes or an Overstock coupon code. With the discounts I am gonna get, I will be able to shop more for my dear hubby.

Wait No More
I know that hubby and his cousin, Richard would rush to malls as early as 5 in teh morning the day after Thanks Giving. They are taking advatange of Black Friday. But it's quite taxing to wait along together with thousand of shoppers. It's like panic buying on this day. That is why purchasing Black Friday items through online facilites is really a breeze. If you want to know more information about Black Friday stuff, you can visit blackfriday.info.

Something That Made My Day
I soOo love my team. So as my Vendor Manager. When we were informed that vendor managers will have a town hall meeting, my team made it sure to send a note to our dear "A" to show how much we appreciate her effort in making our team a successful one. I got an email today saying this:

Thank you so much Team Hernandez for your thoughtful gifts
and thank you letter.

I was so touched I cried when reading what you wrote to me.
I love the bag you sent me (very classy)

And the Bahay Kubo figure.
I honestly have to say that you all are such a blessing to know
And I feel lucky to know you.

I really hope to come visit your new center and please know that
As mushy as this sounds…each of you are very dear to my heart.

Thank you for thinking of me,
A

Sweet. :)

Want a Wii?
Thursday, March 06, 2008
My nephew owns a Nintendo Wii. But for some reason, our maid plugged the 110 unit to 220. Thus, there was a short circuit on his precious Wii. My hubby wants to own a Wii too but we just don't have the budget for it. I, on the other hand, keep on checking internet promotions in the hope to win a unit. And so I found, a promotion that will allow me to win this much-sought gadget. I visited this site: http://urlbrief.com/3a63e7. This page will allow visitors to register with an e-mail address and other personal information for a chance to win a Nintendo® Wii™. The winner will receive a Nintendo Wii Console, Wii Stand, 5 Sports games ( Boxing, Baseball, Tennis, Golf and bowling), 1 Remote Controller, 1 Nunchuk Controller, 1 Sensor Bar, 1 Wii AC Adapter, 1 Wii AV Cable. You are ready to play, no other equipment needed. Visitors will also be given the opportunity to bid on receiving Charter High-Speed® Internet for Life. Registration for bidding on the Charter High-Speed® Internet for Life offer will require that the visitor qualify for the offer by zip code – must be in a Charter serviceable area. Only visitors able to receive Charter High-Speed® Internet services at their residence will qualify to bid.

Three Days
It's been 3 days since hubby left. Unlike before, I am still upset right now over his absence. I still feel lonely. It's true when most people say na iba ang feeling ng magkalayo pag mag-asawa na kau. Usually, I would get iritated with hubby's neighbor sing karaoke out loud same time of the day but this time I appreciate the songs the are singing. Nagpapaka senti lang. HayYyY, how I wish 2008 will be over soon.

Natural Skin Care
Wednesday, March 05, 2008
I am not really a make up person. When I was in college, I only used lip gloss and loose powder to prevent my face from being shiny. However, when I started to become an "office girl" I was forced to put on some make up to at least make myself presentable (despite of the fact that I am dealing with overseas clients).

I find it hard though to find the perfect make up for me. Sometimes, the make up kits that I pick are either too light or too dark for me. I also find it tedious to shop make up items on the department stores. To order make up on line is probably the best solution to my problem of lacking the time to shop around. Surfing the net makes my life much easier. I found out about Sunny Griffin who founded Astara Skin Care. The store sells natural skin care products, just perfect for me. Currently though, I am not fond (again) of using make up. Blame it to hormones. Maybe, just maybe, I am going to have a "baby boy" LOL But anyway, I’ll definitely buy another set of make up kit after delivering my precious angel. :)

BuzzFuse
Tuesday, March 04, 2008
There has been a recent PR change. I have read a lot of bloggeers who doesn't generate traffic but already had a PR. Their alexa ranking is quite low though. With Buzzfuse.com, your blog can generate more traffic. In addition, buzzfuse can also promote photos and music. Thus, it will make your posts more visible. Try it, it's for free so there is nothing to lose.
