Hubby just left for U.S. I really wanted to buy him clothes and an MP3 player but I ran out of time. Im planning of purchasing the items online but I want to look for promo codes first to get more discount. I am hoping I can get ABT coupon codes or an Overstock coupon code. With the discounts I am gonna get, I will be able to shop more for my dear hubby. Labels: P3, shopping |

| Want a Wii? |
| Thursday, March 06, 2008 |
My nephew owns a Nintendo Wii. But for some reason, our maid plugged the 110 unit to 220. Thus, there was a short circuit on his precious Wii. My hubby wants to own a Wii too but we just don't have the budget for it. I, on the other hand, keep on checking internet promotions in the hope to win a unit. And so I found, a promotion that will allow me to win this much-sought gadget. I visited this site: http://urlbrief.com/3a63e7. This page will allow visitors to register with an e-mail address and other personal information for a chance to win a Nintendo® Wii™. The winner will receive a Nintendo Wii Console, Wii Stand, 5 Sports games ( Boxing, Baseball, Tennis, Golf and bowling), 1 Remote Controller, 1 Nunchuk Controller, 1 Sensor Bar, 1 Wii AC Adapter, 1 Wii AV Cable. You are ready to play, no other equipment needed. Visitors will also be given the opportunity to bid on receiving Charter High-Speed® Internet for Life. Registration for bidding on the Charter High-Speed® Internet for Life offer will require that the visitor qualify for the offer by zip code – must be in a Charter serviceable area. Only visitors able to receive Charter High-Speed® Internet services at their residence will qualify to bid. Labels: gadgets, P3 |

| Oyster, anyone? |
| Tuesday, February 26, 2008 |
A friend sent me though email a series of jokes. This one of the jokes where I laughed (despite of it being corny).
Customer: Waiter, I can’t seem to find any oysters in this oyster soup. Waiter: Would you expect to find angels in angel cake?
Living in Cavite, I am now beginning to be fond of oysters. I see lots of vendors in the high-way. I am not really sure about the different types of oysters but hey, knowing it's type is the last of my worries as long as they are delicious. I haven't had a Gulf oysters and it's making me curious.

| Beach Walk-athon |
| Friday, February 08, 2008 |
When we were in Boracay, it ha sbeen our morning habit to walk the entire shores of Station 1 to 3. During teh first 2 days, it was pretty exciting. But on our 3rd and 4th day, I got tried of the long walks we are doing. I have seen some motorbikes being offered there but the cost for renting one is just outrageous. How I wish we locals there offer beach cruisers. I want a style something like this one. I like the entirety of the bike. I don't like pink bikes. It makes me feel so girly. And being girly is NOT me. LOL I want blue. Having one like that can save us energy and time. I seldom have long walks that is why after a few minutes of walking, I get tired. I am really not into exercising. Something that should change especially now that I am preggy. Maybe when little "Therrence" can already walk, Mommy Thet, Daddy Russ and Baby Therrence can ride one huge bike. Labels: P3 |

For some peope, some people who already engaged in a mortage is into Remortgage. I read from some blogs that paying hefty amount of monthly bills can be quite taxing . But I read an article that borrowers can pay off mortgage early by keeping payments up. I know this can be quite hard especially with the economic conditions in the United States. Good thing thogh that Earth.co.uk provides its customer with various news and choise on their mortagage plans. Labels: finance, P3 |

From the yahoo groups for sonn-to-be coupel where I sued to be a member, I know a lot of Filipan accountants who works abroad. Most of them are either direct hired or have sought the help of an online job market like www.accountancyjobsabroad.com. The web-based recruitment company Accountancy Jobs Abroad Limited commenced trading in October 2007 and has rapidly expanded its client base. The business has a clear focus on recruiting finance professionals, predominantly qualified accountants, to many desirable locations around the world. I haven't heard though of a Filipina accountant who is working in Cayman Islands. Here is the press release for the website I have just mentioned. Accountancyjobsabroad.com is rapidly expanding its customer base and it has noted that the Cayman Islands is increasingly becoming the number one choice of destination for many of its candidates. Adam Bendall, a co-Director, commented “Cayman has always had to battle with other locations such as Bermuda in order to fill the vast number of finance jobs which exist. Although there is still a high level of competition for the best candidates, Cayman seems to be gaining the upper hand. We are seeing increasing numbers of candidates selecting Cayman as their first choice destination”. There are a number of possible reasons for this trend such as the probable impact of tougher work permit restrictions which are being proposed in Bermuda. Cayman is also helping to market itself by developing its businesses in key areas, as Mr. Bendall continues “Cayman has a thriving business sector which continues to gain in strength, particularly in the Managed Fund and Hedge Fund industry”. In terms of what this means for Accountancyjobsabroad.com, the business is extremely positive. Mr. Bendall continues “Our web-based strategy enables us to adapt quickly to changes in the offshore job market. We are excited about the opportunities these situations present to our candidates and we look forward to matching their skill-sets to many of the fantastic jobs that are available in this exciting destination”. Russell and I would often joked about owning either a Ferrai or a Jaguar. I know, I know. It's far from reality. Owning one is a longshot for us. Maybe for the mean time, we could just settle for a two-door GSR. That is why he would jsut be contented looking at the Car Prices at http://www.carsblvd.com/. The site offers various competitive quotes on car prices. Labels: cars, hot deals, P3 |

| Creating a Good Website |
| Tuesday, February 05, 2008 |
When I met my videographer last Sunday to get the raw photos from our wedding (yes, we had a photo-video team all in one), he mentioned that his website wil be soon up and running. He has already registered to domain hosting and he is just looking for website design companies so that his website will look even more professional. He knows that hiring one an be too costly but what the heck. Having a website is now really significant in building impression. This is the haven where prospective clients can see his works. So the quality of the website design should be excellent. He has to set proper exepctations though in order for the website builders to come up with the best website design they could offer. I am too is thinking of hiring a professional website designer but not now. Maybe in 5 years. When Russell and I put up our own wedding coordination and photography business. | Of weddings and favors |
| Thursday, January 24, 2008 |
One of my associate QAS is about to get married this May. Because I already had my wedding celebration, she would always ask me about tips on how to plan her dream wedding and what she will give out on her bridal shower. Being a postie exposes me to lots of freebies such as those being offering by Coupon Chief. Getting a f% off on total order from MyWeddingFavor coupons is such a great deal. Likewise, trimming down her weight (though she is not that fat!) as she said, will make her even more confident as she wear her bridal gown. As such, getting into a program that offers discounts like the Medifast coupons is such a tempting deal. Oh well, I just wish her a stress free wedding! Labels: P3, weddings |

| In seach of HappYness |
| Friday, January 18, 2008 |
When I watched the Will SMith's movie, I deeply cried. It made me realize that happiness can be found on the amount of money that one has or the company that he is with. It has something to do with achieving your goal, being happy with your life and thanking God for what you had. It also made me realize the value of family amidst the verr busy and competitive business world. One of the great books that tackles happiness is The Sedona Method. Are you happy? Find out how Mariel Hemingway and Marci Shimoff raised their happiness set point with The Sedona Method. Well, basically The Sedona Method is based on two main premises: -Thoughts and feelings aren’t facts and they’re not you. -You can let them go.
At your core you already have the happiness you are seeking and all you need to do is uncover this natural happiness by letting go of the unhappiness or limitation that appears to be covering or obstructing it. This breakthrough also offers exercise that will help you to let go of the unhappy things in your live. I sometimes wonder why many of those ruch people seek the help of shrinks to think that they already have all the things one could ever wished for. But apparently, they are not happy with their lives. Some of them suffers from depression and other health problems. The Spread of Happiness is now worldwide and more and more people are trying out this method in quest of their own happiness. Labels: P3, social |

| Flower Power |
|
Valentines is just around the corner. When Russell was still may boyfriend, he would always have valentine day flower delivery and chocolates too (even if I am not fond of chocolates!) to compensate his absence on this very special day. Of 5 years, I think we only got to spend Valentine's day twice. This year's valentine's day is our first valentine as husband and wife... something new for us. :) Labels: flowers, P3 |

| Taking Off the Christmas Decors |
| Thursday, January 10, 2008 |
It is only today that we started taking off the Christmas Decors in our house. Before putting the items in abox, I made sure that all LED Christmas Lights are still working. I had to do this because two years ago, we took off the Christmas lights in our christmas tree without testing if all of the lights are working. The following Christmas, I was surprised that at least 50 lights are no longer working. I have watched one of the episodes of a morning program and of the guests was Tessa Prieto. It was very ifnormative. I have learned a lot from her. Labels: home equipments, P3 |
