Events and Caterers
Thursday, July 24, 2008
One co-member in one of my yahoo support groups had his son’s part in Pasadena. It was just a simple party but based from the pictures I have seen, I should say that kids really did have a nice time during the party.
One of Russell’s college friends is set to have her wedding this October in Laguna, California. I thought they are going to have their wedding in Arizona and experience an Arizona wedding catering event. Weddings, weddings, weddings. I love weddings! The occasion just makes me look back during those times when I was preparing my wedding. Though the scouting for suppliers especially on caterers can be pretty tiring, getting to taste the sumptuous food and seeing the elegant reception designs can really make one’s day. Well aside from researching local caterers, I also searched for caterer internationally like Arizona catering in the hope that I can get ideas on how western caterers do their events. I have seen quite a number of photos of New York and California caterers and I am really impressed with their classy way of holding an event, be it corporate or a wedding occasion. OI still have a photo of one of those Phoenix Arizona catering services where the theme of the party was renaissance. The set-up was just awesome.
Be it wedding, christening or a child’s party, holding an event anywhere in the US can be costly. That is why getting the most affordable yet quality caterer is really important. Food is just the life of the party. heheheheheLabels: current events, occassions |

May magagamit na naman!
Sunday, March 16, 2008
So, the unbeatable Pacman won again against another Mexican warrior. I am not a Pacman detractor nor a fanatic. Pero masaya naman ako sa pagkapanalo nya because he brings glory. once more, to our ailing country. Let's just say na nawala na ang "amor" ko sa kanya when he snub Manila Mayor Lim's invitation for a parade within the Manila area the last time he won. Napaka bastos.
Pwe!

Lozada and Goliath
Monday, February 11, 2008
Yesterday, I watched the so-called abduction hearing of The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee. I watched it from 10:30am to 3:30pm. Again, I was moved and touched by Mr. Lozada's utmost sincerity and honesty. Though I told Bebeh that if he was Lozada and me as Lozada's wife, I wouldn't allow him to do what Lozada did. Sorry naman, para lang kasi syang nagsindi ng mitsa ng buhay nya. Feeling ko, isang maliit na kuto lang si Lozada compared to Abalos and FG. That's just me, personally talking.
But really, admire the man. Bibihira ang katulad nya. He has nothing to gain doing what he did and in fact, he has lost a lot of things just by standing firm to his principle.
Nakakainis and at the same time, nakakaawa ung mga naka-assign to "secure the safety" of Lozada. It seems that they do not really know what is going on and they are just following orders. Kitang-kita naman sa pang gigisa ng mga senators. That was "hot seat" personified.
Sana lang..as in sana lang. May kahinatnan ang pagiging bayani ni Lozada. Wag sanang mapunta sa wala. Kung hindi, wala ng Pilipinong maglalakas loob na lumaban sa katiwalaan.
Good Bless Philipines!

Filipinos: Incompetent Health Workers?
Wednesday, October 03, 2007
"Can I just check those diplomas because I just want to make sure that they are not from some med school in the Philippines.".
So much has been said about the particular episode of Desperate Housewives. So here is my take on this issue. Whilst it sounded really foul for us, I wouldn't really take it against the writer. Maybe, it's really the medical school that is being questioned. Maybe, it's where those diplomas came from. Err...Does Recto ring a bell to you? What ever reason he has for including that line in the script, I would just care less. Rather, I would embrace that remark as a challenge not just for our medical health workers but to the entire Filipino as well. Come on, admit it. Ilang controversies na ang yumanig sa medical league because of the confirmed leakage on board examinations? Bata pa ko, alam ko na ung leakage sa nursing board ng Fatima College (they topped the nursing board exam yata) na ikinaburyong ng USTE.
Maybe, what was said was very out of line. Maybe this remark is derogatory but nonetheless, this should be a challenge not just for the medical workforce but to the entire Filipino as well. Nakakapagod ng maging sentro ng katatawanan at kutyaan. And to those Americans out there, you may feel that you are the most superior beings but please don't forget that those incompetent health workers are the ones taking care the large portion of your aging and dying baby boomers. During WW2, the Philippines is the only ally that you had. Don't be ungrateful.
