| Purchasing Medicine Online |
| Sunday, August 31, 2008 |
When it comes to doing business transactions over the internet (shopping for fashion items, medicines etc.), there are lots of questions that will pop into one’s head. I have read one blog where the author is on the edge of buying an Italian-made expensive bag but she was worried about the authenticity of the product that she is going to buy plus the reputation of the seller she is dealing with. I can’t help but think how much worse you can even think of when the merchandise you are going to buy has something to do with medicines. Countless of fake drugs are proliferating the internet. But with Canada Pharmacy Escrow Service, you can be assured of its reliability, safety and security of their products as they will help you connect with a pharmacy in a safe and trustworthy environment. Most of all, you will save more money as they offer free shipping. Now that is something that will make you smile about. Labels: health, internet |

| Losing Weight from Pregnancy |
| Tuesday, July 22, 2008 |
I am now on my 30th week. In my more than 7 months of pregnancy I think I have already gained more than 6 kilos. When I was still single, I didn’t have much problem about gaining/losing weight. My body has been cooperative with me. LOL But I am afraid that it will be a different thing now. According to some medical articles and journals that I have read, women tend to retain 3 kilos of weight they have gained during pregnancy. I know one of hubby’s cousins who is using a herbal tea from Singapore and I can see results of her losing weight. As there are countless of diet pills being sold over the counter, I am no longer sure which ones are safe and which are not. Of course, I would still prefer losing weight the natural way like keeping a proper diet and continuous exercise. I learned from one of my yahoogroups as well that breastfeeding can really make you lose weight. Labels: health, pregnancy |

| Don't Take The Risk |
| Tuesday, April 15, 2008 |
Hubby has been complaining to me about his tooth ache. We were supposed to have his oral surgery when he was still in the country but due to lack of time, we did not have the time to do so. I've been telling him months ago to consult his dentist but since he is the king of procrastinator, he didnt pay enough attention to what I've been bugging for the longest time. I know that having dental consultation can be quite costly. It was a good thing though that I was able to buy him a pair of eye glasses on his birthday. The cost of having one could also be a burden to one's pocket. Actually, everything about health in the US is really costly. That is why having a health insurance is really a must. And I don't want him to take the risk. Hubby's former employer does not offer medical insurance. I know that is a big bummer for him considering the high cost of getting one, if he is getting a medical health insurance. I have encouraged him though to get at least an affordable temporary health insurance until such time that he can get a better job that offers health insurance to its employees. Labels: health |

| Gaining Weight |
| Thursday, January 10, 2008 |
I've been married for just (almost) a month now. People in the office notice that I am gaining weight (though I look younger and more refreshed). But really, I can lose and gain weight instantly. During my wedding I lost an inch on my waistline because of the last-minute stress (3 days). Some of our wedding pictures can attest to that. But now, I gained what I have lost last month. Anyhoo, I know another supervisor in the office (operations dept.) who has tried using pills just to lose wight. Unfortunately, that didn't work. But with the emergence of technology, lap band surgarland of the LAP-BAND System is the safest, proven weight-loss surgery available today and it is the only weight-loss surgery that is completely reversible and adjustable – for life. | Can Long-Term Rehab Help Lindsay? |
| Tuesday, December 25, 2007 |
Lindsay's issue on prohibited drugs addiction has always been the focal point of discussion on why a girl like her with such money, beauty, and fame, would turn into drugs. What happened to the cute little start of " Parent Trapped"? What could have possibly went wrong? The last news I heard about Lohan, the facility center where she's admitted said that she was caught with drugs and having sex with another patient while inside the rehabilitation center. She had a hard time staying in an alcohol rehab facility before. She's also frequently late to meetings and refuses to do any chores or menial tasks such as washing up. With all those things, I was wondering: Where is she admitted? Why didn't the drug rehab center kick her out of their center? Can long term drug rehab help Lohan? For an ordinary family, sending a drug-addicted family member to a rehab takes a lot of consideration such as cost of program, duration, level of freedom, effectiveness, uniqueness of strategy and success rate of drug-free patients. But given these considerations, a lot of parents still opt to send their children into a drug treatment facility in the hope that they will get to see their children "cleansed" and reformed. But Lindsay? Oh well, I hope Lohan will find her way back to her good little girl 'ol days. Labels: health |

| Finding Serenity |
| Tuesday, November 06, 2007 |
I was cleaning our bodega and saw some pages of the newspapers pertaining to the car jacker rub out that happened here in Ortigas (itwas actually very near here in my current office site.) One of the "alleged" car jackers that was killed in the rub out was Brian Dulay. Brian used to be my associate when I was still employed in Ambergris as a Tech Support Agent for Microsoft Virus Solutions (I wonder how he passed the medical exam.) He is not a car jacker. I firmly believe in that. But drugs? Brian was so vocal in telling us (Eric, Gus, Len and the rest of the gang) that he is into drugs. He tried admitting himself to a drug rehabilitation center as per his parents advise but the center'sprogram just ddidn't work for him. I guess, the program didn't fit Brian's situation.
When looking for a drug rehab, it is very important that the center recognize the unique situations of its patients. What worked for Mary might just won't work for Jane. I guess this is what CLiffside Malibu sets aparts among any other drug rehab centers. Drug Rehab Malibu offers each patient an individualized clinical program that includes individual therapy, cognitive-behavioral groups, process groups, and a family program. Cliffside Malibu also offers various activities to support recovery such as experiential groups, yoga and outdoor activities. Group sessions are conducted onsite and also available in the community (transportation is provided). Along with these clinical activities, Cliffside Malibu meets the daily needs of patients enrolled in the drug rehab center including gourmet meals, laundry service, transportation, scheduling of appointments, Internet access and special requests (where appropriate). | Eureka! Eureka! |
| Sunday, November 04, 2007 |
My 77-year old father has toenails that are similar to this:

We initially thought that he's having such toenail because of his age. It was only a few months later that we found out that what he has are actually toenail fungus. We've been treating this disease with a Listerine product that was recommended to us. Until I found Zeta Clear on the internet. Based on the reviews that I read on the internet, Zeta Clear is very effective in treating nail fungus. We're gonna contact my Aunt Susan in San Diego and see if we can ask her to send us this product. Labels: benjamin talks, health |

| Hemorrhoids, genetics? |
| Thursday, November 01, 2007 |
It has always been the center of laughter in our family whenever we talk about hemorrhoids. Sister has always believed that she got her hemmorhoid from Mujax and Mom would blame my late grand father and she would turn to my Aunt Grace to get some sort of reaffirmation. LOL Fortunately, I am a lucky granddaughter who doesn't have this much-precious inheritance. Hehehehehe! Whether hemorrhoids an be acquire through genetics, I don't really care because I am not affected! Kidding aside, I can feel Mom's grief whenever she had to make some bowel movement. When I asked her what is hemorrhoids, all she would tell me is that her anus would bleed every time she would need to do a bowel movement. My Aunt Grace has undergone a medical surgery to get rid of this literally pain-in-the-ass illness, but from I heard the hemorrhoid just came back. As for my Mom, she would use some cream to ease the pain every time she would use the "bathroom". There are lots of treatments for hemorrhoids like painless non-surgical treatment, lasers for hemorrhoids, harmonic scalpel for hemorrhoids and the use of hemorrhoid medications. But since I am a surgery and medication freak, I wouldn't try any of those until some people can attest to the safety and effectiveness of such options. of getting rid of hemorrhoids. At Trustsource.org, they rank the products for the consumer to be designed with simplicity in mind. They also provide their our own customer reviews and ranking. With this, one can have the peace of mind whether using a particular medicine is effective, harmful or if one is just like flushing away money in the toilet. Labels: benjamin talks, health |

| Cough and Colds |
| Tuesday, October 30, 2007 |
I have been suffering from cough and colds for the past week. I have already consumed one "banig" of Neozep and 8 pcs of Solmux but it doesn't help. My lovely Mama Luvie even bought me a box of Zithromax (one box has 3 tablets, a tablet costs P288!).
My colds have already subsided but my cough is still terrible. I was like an "asong ulol" during my entire shift in the office.
Darn it! I hope that by taking Centrum once a day, it will help me less vulnerable on illness like this.

| Can long term drug rehab help Lohan? |
| Thursday, September 20, 2007 |

For an ordinary family, sending a drug-addicted family member to a rehab takes a lot of consideration such as cost of program, duration, level of freedom, effectiveness, uniqueness of strategy and success rate of drug-free patients. Those are the things that NarConon Vista Bay can be proud of. Because of those credentials, Narconon is considered as most established drug rehab companies in the United States. It is also one of the most prominent California Drug Rehab Center. Having said that, one of the most commonly asked questions for rehabilitation center is "How exactly does the purification portion of the Narconon Vista Bay program work?" On their website Drugrehab.net, I found out the answer to that question: Through research done since the early 1960's it has been found that drugs, once taken, leave residues in the body's fat tissues. These residues remain in the body for years after taking a drug. This is the reason for the occurrence of "acid flashbacks" among LSD users. These drug residues also play a large role in an addict's physical craving for a particular drug. Through vitamins, oils, exercise, and sweating daily in our sauna, our sauna program cleans out a users system, leaving them free of physical drug cravings and healthier than they have felt in years.
Oh well, I hope Lohan will find her way back to her good little girl 'ol days.

I have been complaining about my impacted wisdom tooth since last year. It's been really a pain in the ass for me.
Yesterday, I had my wisdom tooth (impacted) taken through oral surgery. The surgery fee was quite hefty but I am just happy that finally, I have set myself free from the hell of pain that has been pestering me for the last 13 months.
My dentist is really good. During the surgery, i didnt experience even a bit of pain. not because there is anesthesia but because he was able to pull out my wisdom tooth in less than 10 mins. But doc said that healing process is really 1 week. So I am now on leave for 4 days. :)
Right now, I can't feel any pain unlike others who already had their wisdom tooth taken although all I can eat right now is congee. Good for me though. This surgery will prevent me from pigging out, just in time as I need to take my measurement for my gown... YihHhhhEeEeeEee!!!
