Mornings Ahead
Friday, November 02, 2007
I woke up this morning with a hug and a kiss from my loving husband-to-be. I was shivering from the cold air brought by the AC system in his room. After years of waking up alone every morning/night, it feels weird and at the same time joyful that finally, somebody is now with me to share beautiful mornings. At around 10:30, I crave for Jollibbe spicy chicken. My uberly cute-na-cute fiance traveled all teh way from Noveleta to Cavite City just to satisfy my cravings! I soOoOooOo love him! He also bought me medicine for my terrible cough.

It's just so bad that I have to come back to work tonight :(

Beautiful Mornings

Thet: Huhuhu..you don't love me anymore. Gusto kong Jollibee eh!

HmPpppfFfF! Ewanko sayo!

Fish Tayo. Tge let's meet half way, tapsilog na lang?!

Ok...ligo ka na!

OopPps..one more picture please!

LOL that was our real conversation early this morning. As soon as I woke up, I was craving for Jollibee's spicy chicken. Too bad, the closest Jollibbe next to Noveleta is in Cavite City and it's quite far from us.

EDIT: We then settled for McDo's brekfast anyway...
the maggot won! LOL

I have been blogging about how so little time I have to prepare myself as I (secretly) plan to fetch Russell in the airport. Little did I know that it's gonna be the other way around.

Friday, October 12. Aside from the fact that it's a holiday, this day is just an ordinary day for me. As usual, I came to work with no make-up; just tied my long hair; wore at-shirt and faded jeans and my ever realible tsinelas na pambahay . LOL While I was swamped with work with side-chatting err bullying my QASs, our lovable security officer, Mang Jolly, approached me, saying that a certain "Ton-Ton" is outside and he wants to talk to me. Dang! My heart was beating so fast. Ton-ton is my brother and the fact that he hasn't visited me in the office in the entire 2 years tells me that something went wrong at home. From a bully face, my face turned into a poker face- something that got my QASs made worried as well. As I stepped outside the 4th floor, I see nobody. I told myself, maybe he is in the lobby so I'm just gonna go downstairs. A few steps before I headed to the elevator, "something" tells me that "somebody" is watching me. There I saw Russell. But wait! Isn't this image just an apparition?! Russell is supposed to be home on Sunday, not on Friday. I froze for like 5 seconds and then, the apparition was walking towards me! Oh God, is this really Russell?! When he smiled, that's the only time I recovered. Immediately, he hugged me but instead of embracing him back, I gave him a powerful right job. Apparently, he arrived 9:30 Friday morning. Hahahahahaha! Tantado ito! Kala ko, multo na nakita ko! Alright, setting being bully aside, after giving him a tight job ala Manny Pacquiao, I hugged and kissed him and asked him to go with me on my desk. A few steps before we reached our work area, I noticed that most of my QAS were standing, as if they are waiting to see what's gonna happen. When they saw me with a man, they instantly knew that "That is Russell!" Why not?! I have Russell's picture in my desk. Anyway, when Olive and James teased me, I blushed. As in really blushed. Eh gatong pa ang mga bakla by saying that we're like Kim Chiu and Gerald A. Somebody even sang Kim Chiu's Crazy Love (?) LOL

What I really felt were mixed emotions. I was happy and surprised because I didn't expect that a predictable man to do something unpredictable like this. On the other, I was disappointed with myself because I didn't really get my self to really dress up and look more presentable in Russell's eyes. Sayang ang plan naming mga bakla. We were supposed to go to the gym and they will accompany me in a salon where I could have my hair dyed and trim. After that, we were also planning to go Glorietta so that Josh and I could buy some MAC make up products para naman di mukhang haggard ang fez ni atashi. All those plans vanished! Ay sus me! Russell saw me without lip gloss! Ewwwww!!! Anyhow, after finalizing some documents needed for our new payroll system, I immediately had a break. We went to Metrowalk with no specific bar/resto to go to. At the parking lot, I was about to step out of the car when Russell stopped me. Aba, 'tong manyakis na to. LMAO We stayed in the car for about 10 minutes with so little words uttered. Ala lang... tamang serenity and cherishing the moment. Ok, fine I admit. We kissed. We kissed like hell.

Anyway, we went to Oyster boy. We had some baked oysters and a bottle of ice cold San Mig Light. Earlier that day, I didn't plan to go on half day but after finishing my San Mig bottle, I think uuwi na kami. hihihihihihi. I really wanted to go home as early as 11pm but since we're gonna have a farewell dinner for Iris (and that needs a separate entry), we have no other choice but to join the team.

So there, we went to his home in Cavite at around 2:30 am na. But I think I slept at around 4am pa. Usually, if I am tired, I would doze off so easily. But how can I sleep when someone right beside me is snoring like hell?! LOL Good thing that that we don't have any itinerary for Saturday morning so I can sleep all day that I want. At around 1pm, Russ told me that his mom called him and said that we're off to Tagaytay for dinner. We immediately prepped ourselves and headed to Caltex where we were supposed to meet. We were expecting that we're gonna man the cashier area pero since 2 naman yung present na assitants, dun na lang kami sa sulok na table. For some reason, Mama Luvie got stacked in her rotary meeting. To kill boredom, we ate some squash seeds and fool around with Russell's new DSLR.

Tita Thet and Russell's niece Chelsea

Bebeh ko...

Tantado 'to! Yoko nga magpa-picture eh!

Si Daddy Ramir din... ayaw magpa-picture!

It was around 4:30 when Mama Luvie and Daddy Ramir came back from their meeting so instead of going to Tagaytay, we ended up going to Dampa Roxas-Seaside Market. I have been to this place a lot of times already though I haven't done the marketing yet so when we joined Mama Luvie as she does the pamamalengke, we really had a great time. I didn't know that even crabs have BAKLA. And take note mga tsufateed, mas mahal ang baklang alimango kesa sa babae huh... tarush noh!

We really did have a great time especially humabol ang brother in-law ni Russell na si Ronnel. It was like one big happy family. :)

We took home 3 kilos of lanzones and 2 kilos of mangosteen and 2 DVDs. It was around 9:30 when we finally went home. I was pretty exhausted miski wala naman mshadong ginawa so I unknowingly napped for about 15 mins. Russell grabbed this opportunity naman to fix the wireless router connection for his sister and all the notebooks they have at home. When I woke up and saw that Russell is not in the room, I decided to watch Chuck and Larry on my own. Siguro sa sobrang pagod talaga, I never get to finish the flick and dozed off at around 12 na.

Girlie: Gutom na ko..wahHhhHH!!!!

The Hernandez Family (me on the camera...LOL)

The following day, we started the day with a mass. Girlie was not there as she attended her Sunday-AutoCad course in Informatics. We planned to attend the Rockwell Bridal Fair but due to the limited time that we have, we just went to Gateway where I bought Russell a few boxer shorts and 10 blank CD-RWs. We also went to Farmer's Dampa and had some food that we brought home. Russell and my parents had some nice conversation over dinner. My nephew, Kenneth, really showed his Tito Russell how kulit he is now. Bebeh also saw my niece, Akane for the first time. Right before Russell left, we saw one of our Ninang to-be, Ninang Puring outside our house while having their usual nigh time chismisan session with my mudrax. XD

Sa bahay ng pamilyang pasaway

Russell with my niece, Akane.
Akane: Sino ba 'tong panget na ito?!

HayyyY the past 2 days have been tiring for me. Tiring but filled with happiness. I'm gonna be inactive again as the next few days will be dedicated to more extensive wedding preparation activities. :)

Why?
Saturday, September 29, 2007
Russell and I just got into a fight. A fight that started with a joke. A joke that made me feel offended. Even though we are going to be married in 3 months time, it doesn't give him the license to tell me all those trashy things in this world. I still deserve to be respected. I am his wife. I am not his b!@tch.

Well, I want to believe that what Russell said is what really mad but as I lay in my bed, I realized that it's not really what he said. It's just an excuse, I guess. I am really not that sensitive. Could it be that I am under "red alert"? the gloomy weather? the Endless love series I just finished? Or could it be anxiety attack couple with being irritable? I don't know.

In 14 days, I'll finally see the moron I have been waiting for the past 19 months. Isn't this what I want? Isn't this what I am looking forward as every day goes by? I am afraid. The idea of getting married is now finally sinking into my cells-less brains. Sure, wedding preparations can be exciting and fun. But beyond that, I have so many fears now. So many worries to think about. I am not really that domesticated. I did not come from a rich family but I grew up with a house help so I never really had the chance to wash my own clothes, clean up all the clutters in my room and prepare any dishes. With that, I have so many questions in my mind. Will I make a good wife? Will I be able to take good care of him? Can I really wake up early in the morning to prepare all the things he need before going to work? Would I be able to cook all his favorite dishes? What if he ask me to stop doing things I really enjoy, will I be willing to compromise for the sake of being together? Do I need to make "pakisama" to his friends? What if in the long run (I am praying so hard that this will not happen-- i simply love 'em all) his family and I will be caught in a misunderstanding? In short, am i really ready to get married? What if we end up better with out each other?

I don't understand why I am feeling all these jitters. Am I a run-away-bride in the making? Paranoia?! Oh God...please bring back the sanity in me.

Merry Christmas, Darling

Greeting cards have all been sent
The Christmas rush is through
But I still have one wish to make
A special one for you

Merry Christmas darling
We're apart that's true
But I can dream and in my dreams
I'm Christmas-ing with you

Holidays are joyful
There's always something new
But every day's a holiday
When I'm near to you
Though the lights on my tree
I wish you could see
I wish it every day
Logs on the fire
Fill me with desire
To see you and to say

That I wish you Merry Christmas
Happy New Year, too
I've just one wish
On this Christmas Eve
I wish I were with you

Logs on the fire
Fill me with desire
To see you and to say
That I wish you Merry Christmas
Happy New Year, too
I've just one wish
On this Christmas Eve
I wish I were with you
I wish I were with you
Christmas breeze is already here. I am now watching Unang Hirit and as expected, the atmosphere of the show is already Christmas-y. CYO Chorale is currently performing. They are awesome!!!

This year's Christmas is going to be the most memorable Christmas for me. It's just 3 days after our wedding day. It's gonna be my first Christmas as Mrs. Russell Hernandez. At last, after 5 years, I will finally be an alumnae of SMP: Samahan ng Malalamig ang Pasko. Nyek! Corny! Kidding aside, I will finally have my Christmas vacation. It's not that I cannot take a vacation leave. No.It's just that I have always opted to work on this day to spare myself from crying and feeling self-pity. I can still remember on our second Christmas, di ako ako mapatahan ni Russell sa kakaiyak. Nakakahiya man aminin but it's the truth. That is why work has always been my facade as I try to conceal how I feel during this season. Pathetic as it may seem, I really avoid going to malls, dining out or going out-of-town during this season. I would just feel sad. I will just miss Russell. Ayaw kong mag-inarte. I know that during those years, suntok sa buwan na umuwi sya sa pasko at new year. But thank God,these moments will finally be put into halt. This is the beginning of a memorable ending. I know a couple of bloggers in my blogroll whose loved ones are apart from them. Tyaga lang...ganyan talaga. For the mean time, I'll just leave you with this one. I have always had this song in my MP3 while doing my data audit. Sing ka na lang... :)

BLANK
Saturday, August 18, 2007
I do apologize for not updating this blog for quite sometime. Actually, I got some drafted posts for this week. It's just I couldn't afford to have a coherent post. My thoughts are scattered. My time, attention and energy have been too much pre-occupied with so many things to do and few concerns to resolve. I can't even think of a more suitable title for this post so this is just gonna be treated as 'blank.'

Aside from the stress that I am getting from work, the petty quarrels that I have with Russell make me 'drain.' I will not disclose the issues we are dealing with because those are just 'kababawan.' People close to me know that I'd rather die than keep my issues within myself. I am a very vocal person. But over the time, I guess I have come into the maturity stage where I have realized that some things are better left unsaid, especially if saying the things I mean to say would just hurt the people that are dear to me. Russell and I are doing great now. I am so giddy with the fact that he has already scheduled his flight and he is bound to arrive in Manila, morning of October 15.

It is still raining. Though I feel more relaxed, I feel a little depressed. I am not deviant albeit. A lot of people are experiencing some sort of depression during rainy season. (EDIT: Sunlight produces MELANOCYTES which produces melantonin. Melatonin is anti-depressant daw. That is why a lot of people tend to be happy during summer despite of the scorching heat and people tend to be sad/depressed during rainy season because rain prevents sun from emitting melatonin. This is according to a radio program I listened to on my way to work last Friday.)

Blaming it to the gloomy weather, I'm going to Trinoma, (together with the rest of my family) to watch a movie. Most probably, Mudrax and I gonna watch A Love Story while the rest of the family members will watch a flick that has something to do with Penguin as requested by my loving nephew.

I know I ought to visit blogs that are listed in my blogroll. I will resume my blog hopping session when I get back tonight, pramis po.

Later alligator!

So near yet so far....

Two months na lang..I mean two months pa! I wanna ride a roller coaster and scream out loud!!!!! Lilipas din 'to.

Our Humble Beginning- Does it really matter?
Wednesday, August 01, 2007
Russell is living his "American Dream."

I am here in Quezon City.

We don't have any common friends. He works while
I am asleep. He is snoring while I am enjoying my afternoon snack. How did we end up together?

Some of my friends know that Russell and I are product of the emerging technology. But they don't know the details. To set the record straight, I am gonna tell everybody how the so-called "cyber love affair" started.

November 2002.

While Russell was a 'senior' chatter, I was just starting to build "career" in a particular chatroom. Unlike Russell who would hop on different chatrooms, I would just visit one chatroom. For Russell, chatting is one best outlet where he can burst his angst over his demanding work and his recent break up with his college girlfriend of two years (Russell initially told me that he had his last gf way back 2001...he just admitted the real score of a recent break up..oh yeah, it was October 2002.) He is working in Orange County, California. Since he is unattached, he was (I mean "IS") a BIG flirt, such a scene-stealer!

I, on the other hand, was a senior business major student in U.P. back then. Out of boredom and anxiety attack, (I was still not over with my ex boyfriend albeit we've been off for more than a year...first bf ei! long story about this!) I would always go to SC to rent a PC unit in one of the internet cafés there.Nada...just browsing the net.

Until one morning (as in early morning..actually, the first customer of the shop) a certain dating website popped out on my screen. Out of
curiosity, I opened the link. I have been a regular chatter of this dating website but only during day time. Until one weekend night while at home, I logged in to this dating website just to make my eyes tired so that a good sleep would knock on my pillows. Little did I know that this one night will change my life--- forever.

He called me "a drag queen" (a.k.a BADING) becau
se of the way I talk. I didn't have any picture on my profile. I called him a "j3rk" without any reason. I guess I just didn't like the way he "messes up the room." Anyway, what started as a petty public "chat war"ended up with a private flirty conversation. When he asked for my picture, I was hesitant sending him my picture. But after using a few more convincing tricks on me, I finally sent him one. LOL He told me he will call me soon as soon as he gets the chance to be free from the pile of tasks that he need to finish. I didn't believe nor even bother to wait for that call. I am not that gullible.

U.S. Thanks Giving Day- Russell called me. I was surpr
ised, really. We talk for about 2 hours (or so?). I enjoyed talking to him so I promised that I'm gonna call him on his birthday, December 3. Just like me, he didn't think that I'm gonna call him. But I did!

After his birthday, we started engaging in some private conversations through instant messenger. I would then, be online from midnight until 6 in the morning. During that time, we're still using dial-up connection so imagine the pain of attempting to regain the internet connection whenever I would get disconnected.

Our first date- May 11, 2003

December 7, 2003- I don't know how we ended up getting this date as our anniversary date. There wasn't any "courting period" at all.

Oh well, when my ex-bf found out that I got a new boyfriend, he just laughed and predicted that this crazy-cyber-long distance love affair is just good for three months. I am not sure if it's just out of sour-graping but he said (according to some of our common friends) that I am not really in love with Russell, that I am just "on-the-rebound" and desperate to show that I am over him. We've officially became "WE" on Dec. 7, 2002 but we only got the chance to see each each other on May 9, 2003. He was skeptical about the purpose of getting myself committed with somebody who I barely knew. I didn't even know how tall he was or what are his favorite food. Russell was a complete stranger to me, as he said. Oh well, I can't blame him. I didn't believe either that this is going to be for real. All I know is that, "this man will keep me company for the meantime".

Anyway, to cut the long story short, we will be marking our 5th anniversary come December 7, 2007. I can no longer remember how many times we (I) tried breaking up, how many heated and longer arguments we have had engaged with and how much we have spent for internet prepaid cards. All I know is that we managed to beat the time, distance and most importantly, those (many) people who didn't believe in us. It was a long shot... We have invested a lot of time, money and emotions. But all I can say is, "It's all worth it! Behlat nyo!!!"

We've been formally engaged February 14, 2006. I started preparing our wedding March 2006. And on December 22, 2007, I will marry my cyber best friend, my chat war comrade and my wonderful lifetime partner :)

You're also invited, only through webcam. LMAO

I'm sick and I need some TLC...
Monday, July 23, 2007
It might be due to the "not-so-hectic" schedule that I had last week that made me sick today. Erika has been sick for a week so I had to take over her team. I am capable of handling a team of 25 people but 50+? Darn it! It's a real pain-in-the-ass. I am the ONLY one who can issue trouble tickets for systems issues, the ONLY one who can call our workforce for change queue during calibration and worst of all, I had to do the PAYROLL of these 50 people ALONE! Kamusta naman yon di ba?! Hello, I am a QA team lead, not Operations Coach or Payroll Master....arrrrgGgg!!!!

I need a break!!!!!!! I feel really burnt out.

I have terrible colds and severe headach
e. I also got slight fever. Oh God, how I wish Russell is here to take care of me. I remember when he was here, he would always take care of me whenever I feel sick. He would always bring me my favorite pasalubong- Chowking's siomai and buchi (babaw ng kaligayan!). If I am in Cavite, he would never leave even if I am asleep. He's always there by my side. I guess, these are some of the petty things I wish I wouldn't have to experience if only he's here.

I need some Russell-mwuahugs...

Sobrang bigat ng pakiramdam ko. I don't think I can make it later tonight.

I know I have said this in almost every post that I made and some of you might be getting tired of hearing this (pero kebs ko, blog ko naman 'to..nakikibasa ka lang eh...LOL), I really miss Russell. Everyday, every week...every moment seems to just pro long the agony. The agony of seeing Russell again, the sense of feeling that somebody is loving and taking good care of you... Masarap nga ang feeling ng in-love but sometimes, when things won't go according to how you want it to be, ang hirap dalhin...minsan kahit anong diskarte, sasablay at sasablay ka din...kahit ayaw mong maging senti at korni,
lalabas ang totoo

hayYyYyYY :(

Just another lonely post...
Wednesday, July 18, 2007
By this time that I am composing this post, it's already 10am. At this hour, I should have been sleeping. I should been asleep as early as 8am to ensure that my energy will be rejuvenated for my daily 8pm-4am work shift. But I can't sleep...

Two Different World

500, 000 miles apart

Russell read the post that I had a couple of days ago. He sent me an email saying "
Thank you. You've been sweet for the first time." Upon reading it, I was stunned. I didn't realize that I have been intensely cold to him. Looking back, I realized how unreceptive I am every time he would open up a topic or simply make a joke just to put a smile on my face. ***Sigh***

There are no best comforting words to say but "I am sorry baby."

Lately, I have been too much pre-occupied with work and other wedding related stuff. And I know, these things are consuming my time and energy that I sometimes tend to forget attending Russell's emotional needs. Sometimes, I would even get mad at him and accusing him of being insensitive of how I feel. At first, I intentionally did these things just to avoid the feeling of being ALONE and LONELY. The sense of being empty. Sometimes, I provoke arguments especially when I miss him. Maybe you can call it defense mechanism. Sometimes, things like these get into my head. I can't help buy cry and pity myself. The last time I saw Russell was March 28, 2006. That was the last time that I felt his tender lips; the last time that I felt his warm embrace; the last time I tried to hide my real feelings over the fact that he is going to leave me and that this time, it is going to be a freaking 17 months of waiting. Russell will be home October 2007. We need a lot of catching up. On December (the month of our wedding), I am going to be on leave for one month. If I have to get a prepaid SIM card to ensure that nobody will disturb us, I will. It's just gonna be Me, Russell and this crazy world. Nothing and no one can intervene. Kelangan ko bumawi kay Baby.

Sorry naman for this uber mushy post... I can't help it. I think I'm gonna explode if I am not able to say this. HayYyyY...how I wish it's already the 'BER months.
